We took our Dad here for his birthday lunch. We all had different meals and each one was perfect. I’ve only ever had roast dinner here before but will return again for the lovely location, friendly service & great menu ��

I’ve eaten sweet potato fries all around the world.. but these are surely the finest.

It’s a lovely friendly pub with loads of tables inside and a huge garden right on the river. Food exceptional and service excellent.

I was treated to a surprise retirement meal at the lock keeper. Great food great service and great company. Thank you one and all.

Go there about once every 5 to 6 weeks for the last 7 years never had a bad meal yet. Good food, good service and nice surroundings

First time I visited last Saturday with a group of friends. Food was excellent. Very good standard and nice and hot. Will definitely be coming again. Outside area looks lovely for the summer months.

we ordered food and it came within 10 mins but it wasnt great. we ordered ham egg and chips and it wasnt worrth what we paid for as it wasnt the best ive had nicer . Otherwise lovely ..

Stopped off for food and decided to try your burger shack!! Burgers delicious and great gin menu! Especially the Seville orange gin. Great Ibiza chill out music and perfect barman . We will be back :)

Lovely venue and got food and drinks very quickly. Our only criticism - having Sunday roast - the roast potatoes are way to big! Each one was almost half a spud and they lacked flavour. They need to be so much better and smaller.

Fab food, lovely staff. Would have been a 5* if the waitress hadn’t forgot my pudding! Hope to come back to this great place soon.

Birthday dinner with one of our daughters , together with our young granddaughter, lovely food, excellent service , wasn’t to keen on there being a dog ( not a guide dog) in the restaurant area .

First time here for a Sunday Roast the setting is lovely,you can eat outside or in the air conditioned conservatory where we ate, excellent and cool.The only downside was the smokers outside are right next to the open doors of the conservatory.We ate around 6 o’clock the only issues were the roast potato’s were a little tough probably sat for a while.The beef was very average,but the pork was good.Desserts were good, Service was excellent and food arrived quickly.Defiantly will return again.Plenty of parking available.

Maybe The Lock Keeper has changed its suppliers but I had the Chunky Beef Chilli today and it was not good! It was more like soup, with chewy, fatty beef and gristle. The crusty bread that accompanied it was 2 very thin slices that put together would not have made a full slice. Regular, happy, well fed customer of this pub for many years but this has left a nasty taste in my mouth!
