Assistant manager required for a award winning pub and B&B, in the Forest of Dean, to work alongside the owners to help develop the restaurant and B & B side of the business.
Must have experience in high-end food also good knowledge of the bar side of the business. Will be running a small team of staff, food orders, running monthly special events.

Miners Open again 7 days a week

Wow! What an amazing Sunday lunch we had today whilst visiting the Forest of Dean sculpture trail nearby. Roast meats carved at our table! Service was outstanding and the food served was 5* we will be returning! Thank you

Went for lunch yesterday the service was great and it was the best haddock and chips iv ever eat massive portion as well! They had were so accommodating with our 2 kids a baby and toddler. Its highly recommended!

We were lucky enough to stay the night here. The room was lovely, plenty of space. The bed was comfy too.

We ate here Saturday night, it was steak night. Fabulous value for money. The best steak we've had in ages! We'll definitely come back to stay and eat!

We found this place online while looking for somew to have Sunday lunch we were glad we did it was absolutely beautiful i had beef husband had pork never had lunch out where u carve meat at your table what a good idea it meant we could share our meat and i have to say it was lovely and plenty of it all veg was fresh u can tell between that and frozen and service was really good to we will be back and we look forward to it to Thankyou to the chef

Thank you so much to the Miners Arms Sling- We celebrated Dads 60th with 50 people (young and old) and had by far a spectacular evening!!!! Super food, service and many smiles when we must have been a pain in the bum because we had all had lots to drink. � you were such a lovely family pub with excellent food x xxxx ��

Stopped by on our travels and had an excellent roast dinner. All the meat is sourced from local farmers and I can’t remember the last time we had a Sunday Lunch to the same standard. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Practically perfect in every way! My partner booked us a surprise night away and this was worth every one of the 58 mile journey to get to it. Food is exquisite, staff fantastic and room although basic, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We will definately be back xx

Popped in after visiting puzzlewood. Was a busy Sunday afternoon but a table was found for us. Lovely roast and puddings to return for! Local produce in abundance and fab to see so many English wines on offer, on what has to be the best drinks menu I've seen. Many British options available. Xx

Our family of 6 adults had a gorgeous meal last night. We had a mix of steaks, burgers and fish and chips; the complimentary bread was delicious! All our meals were beautifully presented and tasty, we had a warm welcome and sat by the fire afterwards.

One of the very best places to eat in the Forest of Dean, consistently great food and friendly service, with quite possibly the best Sunday lunches in the area. Highly recommend.

Not really related to the place but the owner was an absolute legend! The reason why was because i broke down in Forest of Dean and he helped me jump start my car and followed my car to make sure i got to my destination without breaking down again. Fair to say Steve is a legend and cant thank him enough, im assuming all his staff are like him! Thanks mate! �������

My daughter and I have stayed here with her dog for one week in July for the past two years, and we are booked again for July 2017!

Made welcome on arrival and asked if we were there to eat. Shown to table where we chose what to eat. We both had the early bird menu which was just £14.95 for 3 courses. Excellent food and excellent service

Lovely meal for my birthday treat - we tried the Forest Menu which was great.This is our local gastro pub and we will be back (soon)!

Looking for a petrol station we stopped by here for a quick lunch today. We’re glad we did, the food and service were both fantastic. I had the Wye Valley Angus burger which came with a unique flavour and tomato sauce, Sue had the slow roasted pork belly. It was excellent, we’ll certainly be back to sample more

Large group of campers trying to avoid the rain: we were delighted when Miners could fit us in at short notice, but even more impressed with the friendly service, reasonable prices and delicious food. Really tasty and good menu. Would visit again if back in the area. Thank you!

I've just had a fabulous 3 courses on pot luck Monday. Nothing pot luck about it in my opinion it was all delicious, very good selection, plenty of staff, all polite and cheerful. Thanks for a lovely meal we will be back soon
