Lovely food great place to have a meal and drink . Lovely views of the sea sand and surfers xx

User

Have been going here since the early seventies, and have seen a few changes, but its still fantastic. Views are spectacular over Polzeath Beach, especially the sunsets, absolutely breathtaking. Had a really nice meal here in June too, great happy barstaff and welcoming service. We have never had any bad experiences at the Oystercatcher :-) :-)

User

Great place. Top view. Good vibe. Great music. Please stop using so many straws and bits of plastic!

User

Great place, love travelling all the way from sunny Bodmin to visit this place. Great food, great atmosphere and one of the best views in Cornwall. We had sausage and Mash, and can honestly say was the best we had tasted that day....

User

Great food and service!! Fish and chips were lovely

User

Food order was refunded due to waiting over an hour, however - this was a decision made by the very pretty waitress at The Oyster Catcher and not us. We hadn't realised this time had even passed and we were also given free drinks as a thank you. Simply excellent customer service. A real benchmark to which other restaurants should aspire to achieve.

Thank you.

User

Well it's a nice seaside pub. The menu is simple but well cooked and tasty. The apartments are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Polzeath is a sufer's beach so no dogs from Easter to the end September. But daymer beach dogs allowed all year. There's live music on Saturdays but it didn't disturb us as after a day walking sleep came easy.

User

Great steaks, good beer, great view, lovely bar staff, and caught some live music! Been to worse places! Loving it! X

User

Good, very lively pub, gets busy but the bar staff are quick to serve, also has good view of polzeath beach!!!

User

We are local and went over to oyster catcher for dinner on tue. My son and I had chicken burger with bacon and cheese was a nice meal. However my husband decided on sea food platter he didn't finish his drink and we decided to leave. Within 10 minutes of driving back to trelights he had to stop the van and get out and was sick several times. He was up during the night too and was still being sick this morning. Clearly the food he had was either gone off or not cooked properly which is a shame

User

The pub was dirty, waitress droped food on the floor several times and just left it ?? Inside & outside ??. Also the buckets you are given with knives, forks and sauces was disgusting ! Filthy.

User

Very disappointed! Had Scampi....chips were barely warm & didn't taste fresh....chips with burger sent back.....peas lukewarm. If the music had been less invasive & less noisy I would have attempted to complain but could barely converse with family on the other side of the table & made our exit pretty promptly! Poor value......& gather from others that they too were disappointed with the food....wish we had been told beforehand!
