We held a baby shower/birthday party yesterday and had the room separate to the pub. It was perfect for what we wanted plenty of room and set out well with lovely toilets. The food was delicious !! Quiche sausage rolls smoked salmon wraps huge sandwiches and pork scratching and chips. Next time will go for a meal as the menu looked amazing 🤗

Such a gorgeous sun trap garden, we went here for lunch and we were not disappointed! It's a Sunday afternoon I'm not expecting to be fed within half an hour and I don't mind being inside or outside with a glass of wine waiting for my food because it's such a lovely place to be! The crab linguine is to die for �

Such a beautiful pub. Great food and and plenty of choice from the menu to suit all taste buds..large car park. Lovely views ...would definitely be visiting again. Really friendly and helpful staff.

One of the best roast dinners I've had, lamb was very succulent and the potatoes were very crispy. Nice pint as well

I’m on holiday in Chew Magna. Not eaten here but I’ve had some excellent beer and friendly service.

I just wanted to thank you for the most lovely meal and top class service from the team at the pelly last night.

After a long day at longleat safari park we called in for dinner on our way home. The staff were so accommodating to my daughters fussy needs, making her chicken goujons, which were absolutely delicious!! Freshly cooked and far superior to the usual 'chicken nuggets' found in pubs!

My little boy was exhausted and fell asleep on my knee and staff were really lovely about this too. They were all friendly and obliging and went way above and beyond in everything.

Thank you so much. We all had a great time and enjoyed great food!

Held a baby shower in the barn this week and the staff were really helpful and food was delicious! Would come here again in a flash and recommend anybody who's having a small gathering to hire out the barn space (we had a maximum of 20 people) x

We booked a table for seven adults and one baby which is what we were given , we had a lovely table but the chairs we a little small but we managed the baby had a high chair we ordered our food but waited rather a long time for it but when it eventually came it was delicious the staff were very friendly Bit pricey but you only get what you pay for (so they say) would we visit again yes we would

Went there for Sunday lunch yesterday. After I noticed another couple that had arrived a good 15 minutes after us get there food. I went up & asked where our food was. The man behind the bar told us that as we've ordered the side of cauliflower cheese that's why our food was taking longer! I know that was untrue as the couple had cauliflower cheese! When I went & sat back down he went stright into the kitchen.

I know they mixed the orders up!

Once the food had finally arrived it wasn't great & my husband & I left more than half of it.

We will not be going there again.

Arrived yesterday for mother’s day treat disappointing from start to finish table not ready on arrival took far too long between courses food wasn’t great beef very undercooked rare not pink still mooing and wasted it not enough veg for 6 people overpriced starters mains and desserts bread to start was £6 enough to feed a child terrible price seeing as Hobbs bakery bread is £2.75 a loave only good thing was cauliflower cheese service slow and just left us after each course with no idea on customer service definitely won’t be back and definitely won’t recommend to friends and family not even a free glass of wine for it being Mother’s Day to my mother shambles
