Welcome to The Plough, our beautifully restored traditional village pub in the Hampshire village of Grateley. The village lies just to the South of the pre-historic hillfort of Quarley Hill in the heart of the Test Valley and is surrounded by farmland with ancient footpaths and droveways ideal for those who love to tramp about in the English countryside.

Eaters, drinkers, families and dogs are all welcome. In the bar area there are snugs and a warm open fire for the winter, and doors to the garden for the summer. The dining room is warm and welcoming, with darts and games to while away the time.

The food we serve is fresh and delicious, but definitely not fancy. We will always use seasonal ingredients, and where possible local ones too. Our menu changes regularly, but to get a flavour have a look at our sample menus.
