Today the kitchen have been mostly working on the Halloween buffet we were commissioned to provide.......we are really pleased with the results 🎃👻👊🏼

i cannot say anything bad about this place, the staff were not only friendly but so very helpful, our afternoon tea was really lovely with a good selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes!

it was my second time there for an afternoon tea and would honestly want to go back a third time!

Went to the dinner and dance last night with friends food was fantastic entertainment fantastic and amazing staff. Would recommend to anyone for a good night out !!

Went for an afternoon tea. The member of staff working was lovely and the place was kept clean and tidy. The afternoon tea was really nice and fresh.

Very comfortable and friendly with just a short walk to the town centre.

Will stay there again.

This is the third time I've been here on a Groupon afternoon tea and it was just as amazing as the first and second times. Staff are friendly and attentive, the food is amazing and even the regulars seem to be a friendly bunch. I just love the character of this place too. I'm quite sure I will be there again in the not too distant future. Thank you xx

My husband and I have just spent the weekend at the Roundabout Hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary, we had a warm well

Come as soon as we arrived . The room was very basic but had everything we needed and was clean . The food tasted great was presented well and was always piping hot . Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff . Housekeeping brought clean towels filled up coffee etc in the rooms every day . It had a very warm atmosphere and families are well catered for . Well done to all the staff and thank you for Making our Anniversary .

Just got back from 3 days away here with my husband. Had a great time at the roundabout hotel. The hotel itself is great, the staff are very welcoming and the food quality is fantastic. It was just what we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for the management and staff. Would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Have just got back from a Groupon afternoon tea with my mum. The food was lovely and included a big pot of tea. The lady who served us was very friendly and happy. The building has lots of character. Nice relaxing music. We will be back :0)

Had our wedding reception here just under 2 weeks ago. Gemma and the team could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they made planning easy. My vegan guests were more than adequately catered for, and even vegan wine was sourced. We had the most amazing day. Thank you so much!

Had afternoon tea was well amazing great scones many choices of sandwich fillings very tasty .as i was only drinking tea was able to take home my presseco.did not get the ladies name who looked after us but she was very nice and friendly and went out of her way to make our afternoon a happy one .would recomend going to the roundabout hotel lovely place

Fabulous night last night for the dinner dance. Food was delicious, entertainment was great (I blame that for my sore throat this morning because of all the singing.) Staff were lovely. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you all. Xx

Quirky old building which could do with an update. Our room was dated but clean with an enormous bed. Unfortunately it was at the front of the hotel and there's no double glazing so the loose drain cover on the roundabout thumped everytime something drove over it. Food and service were excellent both at dinner and breakfast. This was all on a Groupon deal for £49 so really couldn't complain about value for money.

We thought this very quaint pub/hotel was rather lovely. Staff were helpful and he food was amazing. The rooms weren't brilliant but they were still rather nice. However upon checking out we waited in the beer garden for our taxi. We became very thirsty and asked for a glass of tap water....

We were refused tap water. We were told by a lovely girl that she had been told not to give us a thing until 12... it was only just 11am.

I asked why we couldn't just have a cup of tap water and I was told I'm sorry but I've been told I can't give you any water.

That... is the most unfair thing I had ever come across. I've never known anywhere in my life to refuse someone tap water and tell them basically they can't have a drink for an hour.



So this would have been an almost perfect review but they ruined it at the end by being rude enough to refuse people water.

Myself, my partner and two family members came here yesterday for a tea and cake afternoon thing, the pub itself was quite nice but I must admit the toilets and staff let it down. The toilets really could do with a revamp as they were very tatty, poor door locks, no mirrors etc. One member of staff seemed happy but the other miserable, she took our order and just left, no, "I'll place this order and it will be with you shortly" or "is there anything els I could get you whilst you're waiting", so a little disappointed if I'm honest.

My room was basic but dirty washbasin and tea stained drinks tray. Definitely in need of good update. Someone had gone to trouble of putting an electric fan in the room because of warm weather. Sadly put on top of wardrobe unit, a good. 2 feet out of my reach above my head. As a vegetarian I ordered cheese skewers and after 30 minutes was brought chicken ones. Staff were friendly and helpful but overall disappointing stay.

Ive been before for afternoon tea, took my mum for her birthday last year and it was lovely, had quite a few people there. unfortunately, I took my daughter yesterday and the standards have definitely dropped, cakes were cut from a packet cake, not fresh at all, very dry as were the scones, ham was wafer thin, a tiny bit of horseradish in the beef, very disappointing as it was a also birthday treat, the young man who served us was pleasant tho, I won't be going back.

Food was lovely, apart from the pork, gandi’s slipper , i had the gammon steak which was over cooked but all the compliments were yummy, so no complaints from here. The seating was very crammed, but it’s Christmas? All in all good venue, great entertainment and ok food, not wow but very satisfying.

Well done to all the staff that were very professional and did there best �

Although a very cheap groupon deal, the overall standard was not acceptable, room very very basic, outdated, dirty, and in desperate need of redecoration

My worry is if an establishment allow you to see their rooms in that condition what must there kitchen be like? Saying that this morning I have a very bad stomach from last nights meal,
