We dropped by to take a look at the hotel and see what it had to offer and we are hooked! A little piece of paradise.

Pure luxury ,great service and if there was heaven on earth I think we found it .

We couldn’t have asked for anything more for our honeymoon. The room, views, spa, staff were all incredible. Best gluten free food too! We’ll see you next year for our anniversary!

This place always takes my breath away every time I stay here- The views are second to none, the food is healthy yet hearty at the same time, the cliff hot tub is a sublime experience in all weathers and the accommodation is luxurious and leaves you wanting for nothing.... The Scarlet is, quite simply, magical. I’m a repeat visitor to the spa, and just stayed as a guest for the second time. The food and service this weekend - were particularly exceptional. Can’t wait to go back. Didn’t want to leave. Highly, highly recommended. They have something very special there.

Superb three day break at the Scarlet. Absolutely marvellous in every respect. Great location, yummy food, great wine list, fantastic staff where nothing is too much trouble and an amazing spa experience......oh and the sun shone for us. Paradise surely is The Scarlet.

Simply superb, from the location, staff, spa, facilities and food, our stay was literally perfect. The staff could not do enough to help, our open plan room with a panoramic view of the beach was perfect, luxurious, well appointed and a good size. The best thing of course is no mobile phone signal, however there is high speed wifi if you need to be in touch with the outside world. We will be back, that's a certainty!

Had a wonderful 5 day break here for Christmas this year. Loved the hotel, food was amazing and the staff were all absolutely lovely. Really enjoyed the slightly quirky nature of the hotel and the Christmas break felt like a big house party. Highly recommended :-)

Gail and I had a Hot Poltice full body massage. We’ve stayed with The Scarlet 6 times now and have to say today’s massage was the best massage ever. Straight after massage we went into the relaxation area and fell asleep for 2 hours in the Cacoons. Pure bliss. Thanks to therapists Laura O and Liz!!

Fabulous 3 day spa break to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. Superb staff, food and a stunning location. Fantastic art work on the walls. Many thanks to everyone at the Scarlett for making our anniversary so memorable. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Amazing!! We had the best time here celebrating our mini-moon, already planning our second visit! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, the hotel is in such a beautiful setting and the spa treatments are incredibly relaxing. �

Amazing setting and beautifully decorated, food was fantastic and sat on the terrace in the hot sun and then watching the sun set was a real touch of California!

Surrounded by fantastic art, stunning coastal views, this wholly original hotel and spa is that bubble of calm we all seek sometimes, no pretentiousness, just peace. Any hotel restaurants that lets you eat in your bath robe and slippers gets my vote. ���
