About The Steam Crane

The Steam Crane is an Independent Ale House, serving local craft beers and ciders as well as beverages from around the World.

The Steam Crane Description

The Steam Crane is a creative, dynamic, innovative and honest company shaped by the people who work here.

We work with our customers to give them the best hospitality events. We want you to have friends, family and corporate customers that love getting a party invitation from you.

To make this happen, we’re home to people with passion and experience of craft beers, wine and spirits, music, ambience creation, sports and Bristol culture.

We have a strong culture of working in long-term relationships with our customers. Although it’s a bit of a cliché, we strongly believe that our customer relationships are partnerships and that’s the best way for our customers to get exactly what they want.

We like to think we’re cool but not cocky, creative but not completely off-the-wall, and hard-working but not worked into the ground.

Our door is always open, so you can pop in any time to get to know us and see how we can make your party or event very successful.

Work Christmas party. Had a private room and three course meal. Lovely room, nice to be away from the hubbub of the busy, noisy pub downstairs. Food was delicious and the staff attentive. Highly recommended.

User

Wonderful evening on Thursday with family, friends and new friends, the beef pie with thyme suet pastry was delicious. The selection of beers is incredible thanks to Gap, whose knowledge of beer is unsurpassed.

User

This is my second review but I love this family friendly pub!

The Sunday lunch is incredible and you are wise to book as it has become very popular recently!

We are Always made to feel welcome even with our little person, and if you get caught short there are spare nappies and baby wipes on the baby changing table!

Good range of drinks and lovely atmosphere.

User

I have just eaten here and would definitely recommend their burgers and breakfast! Best I've had this year

User

Great to see live music back at the Steam Crane, it's what North St is missing. It would be even better to see more varied bands apart from just cover bands? Keep it up guys!

User

Great pub, great beer, very friendly and welcoming, great food and great live music at weekends in this trendy part of the best city in the world..

User

It's a really good pub nice pint and the Sunday roast are very nice 🖒

User

Told it was last orders at 21:55, on a Tuesday night, with at least 12 customers, mostly in pairs, in the place. Wtf?

User

No customer service. Our table wasn't reserved even though my son had rung earlier in the day to reserve one. Once we sat down, no one came over to give us a menu. The only menus we could find were lunch menus not dinner. When we were finally given a dinner menu it didn't match what we had seen online. We drank our drinks and found somewhere else to eat and won't be returning.
