HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?
I get this question all the time and in truth it varies. Sometimes you can see changes in the mirror or people making comments about your figure within a couple of weeks.
Sometimes it takes a little bit longer.
... But here is why tracking your progress is SO important.
You see, you might think you aren't making any progress.
BUTTTT
If you're tracking your measurements then you may see inches lost without even seeing the scales move.
The problem is because we see ourselves every day we don't really notice the changes happening.
Use these three ways to track your progress so that you KNOW you are making progress and you won't go losing motivation.
1. Weigh yourself every day. Yes every day. You weren't expecting that were you... I will make another post about why I think this is a good idea. (Even though my previous recommendations were to not even bother!)
2. Get a fabric tape measure and measure your chest, waist, hips and thighs once every two weeks!
3. Take a progress photo of your front/side every two weeks. Using the same lighting and preferably the same/similar clothes!
Using these methods to track your progress is essential to keeping motivation sky high and staying on track to your ultimate goal!

WHEN/WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS?
The sessions will be Monday, Wednesday & Friday between 6-9pm with an EXTRA session on Saturday mornings.
Sessions are held in a Private Personal Training Studio situated at the Basepoint Centre near the Itchen Bridge on the Southampton side.

Because we will be training in small groups (which is proven to get you better results than one to one) we are able to offer this challenge for just £47.

*** You're Weighing Yourself Wrong ***
You probably know my opinion on weighing yourself too often.
It drives me mad.
... The only thing that weighing yourself once a week guarantees is wrecking your motivation.
Weighing yourself CAN be a good method of keeping track of your progress.
To ensure that you’re getting an accurate read when you jump on that scale keep the following steps in mind:
Time: Always weigh yourself at the same time of day, preferably first thing in the morning after going pee.
Clothing: Wear the same type and amount of clothing, or (if in the privacy of your own home) weigh without clothing.
Journal: Keep a log of your weight along with the date to create a history of data to assist you towards your fitness goal.
Do this ONCE PER MONTH!! (3 days in a row & take your average)
NO MORE THAN THIS.

Notice what every single one of these diet has in common?
That's right, the reason they work is because they enable you to be in a CALORIE DEFICIT. (Eating less calories than you use each day thus burning body fat for energy)
... Moral of the story?
Choose the way of eating which suits YOU.
Don't go try doing low carb if the majority of the foods you eat on a regular basis are carby.
