Well mixed grill night was well received. Empty plates and full people. Had some amazing comments too. Tomorrow we are back to the menu, with special tomorrow being fillet of sea bass on a bed of rice noodles.
Sunday it’s back to our popular roasts. Meats this week are Aberdeen Angus extra mature topside of beef... Roast loin of pork Minted lamb shank All served with fresh crushed roasted new potatoes, veg, Yorkshire pudding and a gravy boat. Well what an amazing day. It’s nice when we can give a little back to the people who support us week in week out. Scott, jack and Jake you guys were outstanding. Also a special mention to Allan, you can actually play. If anyone has any video from today, please feel free to post it on here, would be great to see them. Happy bank holiday Sunday 🌧 The rain isn’t stopping us today. 2 great live music acts(live music starts at 1pm)with just Millie then finishes with Hissyfit lite .homemade burgers and butchers hook sausages on the bbq from 1-3ish. Should be a great day of music, food and fun.

Great Sunday lunch today with my awkward partner (wine allergy) looked after superbly! We will be back soon!

Friendly and food was cooked lovely. We even had a really good singer whilst we ate. Can't fault it.

Enjoyed a lovely relaxed Sunday afternoon with a gorgeous, well sized and well priced roast with great live music. A beautiful setting to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

Enjoyed a Moroccan evening last night. 10 courses no less! Food was amazing and plentiful and the service was great. Good price too. Would definitely recommend.

Can't thank you enough for putting on a lovely festive coffee morning for myself & some of my Zumba ladies. The warm mince pies went down a real treat. Perfect setting & plenty of seating for us all to have the chance to chat.

Attended the Travs this evening for their American Indepedence day supper. Food was outstanding. Never had Clam chowder before. Absolutely delicious. Wings were top draw as was the Florida salad followed by New Orleans Jambalaya which is a meal on its own. Twinkies and apple pie were put in the doggy bag. Well done to Ryan, Claire, Dean and Ellie for an excellent evening. Loved it.

Amazing food staff and management are very welcoming. Love music was brilliant and the gin was lush xxxx

The food and the staff were lovely. Couldn't fault either. I highly recommend the roast sandwiches, the 2ft+ ones, although they are not for the faint hearted!

The pub is in a lovely location, there were deer running across the filed as we left.cant wait to visit in summer.

There is a pool table and there was a live singer who was very talented.



It looks like the pub is having some work done, which is great as some areas are in need of some TLC. But that would not put me off going again. In fact im rounding up a bigger group of friends to go back an tackle the roast sandwiches as im determined to finish them this time!
