Would definitely recommend Thorpes Physiotherapy. Lizzie Kenny is very knowledgeable and explained everything about why I was experiencing knee pain and constructed a plan with me to help me become more mobile and in less discomfort . Over the course of the six weeks we also tried (with success) acupuncture and exercises to help strengthen and support my knee. The whole team are caring and professional. Thank you

We highly recommend Jonathan and Thorpes Physiotherapy for their outstanding treatment and professionalism.

We first visited Jonathon with my daughter in early 2012. As a young teenager she was having a growth spurt which was impacting on her gymnastics resulting in her being dropped from her team just before the British Championships. With frequent visits to Jonathon she was able to represent GB at the European Teamgym Championships later that year. She continues to see Jonathan for manipulation and acupuncture and is our first port of call following injury and he has her back on her feet in no time. Jonathon always explains to her what he is doing in an age appropriate manner and has been flexible with his appointments working around school and training hours. Without Jonathon’s expert help she would not have such an impressive record of achievement. Thankyou.

Thorpes Physiotherapy is fantastic ... I could hardly move my arm/shoulder, struggled to get dressed/change gear and when my doctor said about physio I kind of thought "here we go / waste of time" ... but Jess was amazing. Jess set a timeframe/expectations which we pretty much stuck to, was extremely motivational, monitored me regularly and gave me a good range of exercises to do at home. My rotator cuff / shoulder issue is now completely restored and I am able to move easily. I would highly recommend Jess at Thorpes and whilst I don't really want to go back, moment I have a problem, I will be straight back .... even if I had to pay privately. Thank you Jess .... 5 stars from me!!!

User

The Thorpes team are very friendly and really want to get to heart of your problem. I have been going to them for over a year as I have ongoing problems with my neck. I am greeted when I enter by a friendly receptionist and I always see the same member of the team as they know my existing problems and work to find the solution that is best for me. I can recommend them highly as very professional and caring people.

User

One very happy client with a fully rehabilitated damaged knee after 6 weeks of progressive exercises "choreographed" by the wonderful Lizzie Kenny. I've now a maintenance programme that I'm determined will keep me in good shape for many a Morris Dance season to come. It passed its first performance test this week with no problem. I can highly recommend to any other sufferers of Morris Dancer's Knee!

User

My daughter has been seeing Jonathan, on and off, for several years due to various sports injuries. He is fantastic and a true professional.

User

It has been a long 14 months but thanks to Laura at Thorpes, I feel like I have a brand new shoulder! All the staff have always been professional and friendly. I have particulary appreciated Laura's honesty which I think is really important through physio, so that you can manage expectation. I arrived 14 months ago crying and left laughing and ready to join the gym. Thanks a million to Laura and all the Thorpes staff. Looking forward to the Pilates classes starting soon.

User

I'd highly recommend Thorpes Physiotherapy. I came to see them following a fall that I'd had causing knee pain. I'd already seen my GP and have x-rays taken, but the diagnosis was still unclear. They helped diagnose this, however got a private referral to a orthopedic knee specialist. An arthroscopy on the knee was recommended to trim the fat pad. Whilst Thorpes were not keen on the idea of surgery, I felt this was my best chance of being pain free. After the surgery, I saw Dan at Thorpes to help with my rehab. Dan was great and took a real interest and understanding of my goals to get back running. I'm not the best patient as I like to keep active, however Dan worked hard with me to ensure that I could be back training and running as soon as possible. I have now started running again 7 weeks post my surgery starting with a run/walk. I really do appreciate all the help that Dan has given me.

User

I was seen by Kate McGowan for a 6 week course for a very painful pelvis problem. She was amazing. I was able to fly to Cyprus with a lot more comfort than the previous year. Lots of advice and tips for my general posture and health too. I would highly recommend Kate and Thorpes for their professionalism and care.

User

I have known Johnny for many years and consulted him for a variety of conditions .I have always found him to be extremely knowledgable, professional and caring. He has given me excellent advice particularly recently regards a hip replacement. I would highly recommend Thorpes Physiotherapy , they will fix you and care about all aspects of your recovery .

User

I have just finished my physio with Jess at Thorpes, and I have to say it has been a brilliant experience. I never expected to recover from my knee surgery so quickly and this was largely in part due to the excellent support, advice, guidance and encouragement I received from Jess. As a dance teacher getting back to full fitness was vital for my work, but doing it gradually and safely was also very important. Every time I had a session with Jess she was able to give me the confidence to take the next step in my recovery, and helped me to adapt my at home physio exercises so that they were specific to my dancing needs. Thank you Jess!!

User

I enjoyed my sessions with Jonathan he was very professional and knowledgeable

User

I can't believe how much I felt better after my appointment. Staff were fantastic..

User

Helped me with my hip replacement recovery with great physio and then the latter part by having hydrotherapy at Hampshire Lakes - wow - that was brilliant and I would thoroughly recommend to anybody with hip and back problems.. I am now cycling for a hobby, can walk my dogs miles and feel like my life is back on track.

User

Gave me my life back after a stroke losing my left side - professional, caring, experienced & dedicated team who made a significant difference. From not being able to walk, a year later I ran the Frimley Park 10k in 59:58 - amazing thanks to Thorpes. Worth every second & every penny. Still improving as demonstrated by the cool VI Move analysis. 1 year later the results are staggering too see. Highly recommended.

User

Friendly welcoming staff. I hate any form of exercise but had a hydro session today and really enjoyed it. Can’t wait for the next. Initial consultation was very informative and I was given easy doable exercises for my problem knee. I would highly recommend. Thank you Thorpes

User

Fantastic service all round but a huge thank you to my physio Emily, after 3 sessions I’m all fixed, from literally not being able to move for 3 weeks. Can not recommend highly enough xx
