Really great stuff from Stephanie on our last challenge.
I think the thing to think about is with a family, sometimes you come last and ultimately there will never be the perfect time to get in shape.
hard work, not convenient and results belong in the same sentence.

Supplements and the big picture!

Oriental Salmon
20ml soy sauce 30ml cold water 1 inch piece fresh ginger, very finely chopped... 2 cloves garlic, very finely chopped 1 tbsp honey (or use natural sweetener of your choice) 2 x 170g salmon fillets 2 tsps coconut oil 1 tsp sesame seeds
Serves 2 Per serving; 440 calories 28g fat 12g carbs 35g protein
Combine the soy sauce, water, ginger, garlic and honey in a bowl and stir well.
Place the salmon in a bowl and pour over the marinade, rubbing the garlic and ginger into the salmon with a spoon.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes or overnight.
Place the sesame seeds in a non stick frying pan over a medium heat. Toast gently, stirring frequently until the seeds are a golden colour.
Heat the oil in a saucepan over a medium heat. Add the salmon and cook for 5-6 minutes, until the skin is golden and crispy. Turn and cook for a further 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon in thoroughly cooked. The flesh will be a pale pink colour when cooked.
Serving suggestion: Serve with stir fry or steamed vegetables and a sprinkle of fresh coriander.

Tone fitness has been brilliant for me, I needed to be motivated and it has done just that, it’s hard, the diet and the exercise classes, but well worth the effort, I would really recommend to anyone who wants to get fitter and lose weight.

Today is the beginning of week 4. I have never felt so motivated to turn up and get fit. I have joined many gyms over the years but always got bored after about 20 mins and either then didnt put the effort in or simply gave up and went home. Not so here. All the trainers are encouraging and motivating and ensure you get the most out if each session.

I did my tenth session today and no two have been the same. Similar to what Forest Gump said 'Tone Fitness is like a box of chocolates, you just never know what you are going to get'. The variety seems endless. Never knew so many exercises existed.

When i started out there was no way i could do jumping lunges, this morning i was doing them.

The food plan does take a little getting used to but hey you can do anything for 6 weeks. I will certainly be changing my eating habits once the initial 6 week chalkenge us over.

Spent this morning going through my wardrobe and trying on a load of things i have not warn for several years. They now fit which is brilliant.

I play golf and yesterday played in a 36 hole competition in the heat we are currently experiencing. I did not tire which before i started the challenge i would have done for sure.

Looking forward to the next 3 weeks.

Starting second week tomorrow. Three hard gym sessions under my belt and amazed at the unending encouragement from the great trainers, and the online support from the team. I’m following the diet the letter and not feeling hungry at all. Disappointed in my weight loss in the first week but persevering. Good luck to my fellow challengers. It’s a great programme.



Update. Almost finished my 4th week. The gym sessions don’t get any easier but not aching all over any more and the trainers are incredibly encouraging. I feel stronger and my clothes feel looser on me. I lost 8lbs in the first 3 weeks. I’m not feeling hungry at all and the meal suggestions from fellow challengers are really useful. The teams support has continued and really helps.

It’s a great challenge and really works.

Nothing but praise for this place!



Firstly, it is the most professional and well organised fitness club/ PT I have ever been part of.. the trainers give you a full hour of their time and attention, no chit-chat, no phone distractions, meaning I can push hard in those 3 hours a week and it gives me the same benefits as what I used to get in 6 hours! I have my life back and I still get results which is exactly what I was looking for.



The support is phenomenal - keeping you accountable for your actions, ensuring success and always being there to listen to any concerns. This drops down to the other members too - such a lovely bunch of people that are so supportive �



I love love love the fitness - and 4 weeks in I can feel my strength returning already - it’s tough but you can go at your own level and therefore never feel under pressure from anyone except yourself.



Ok right, let’s talk about the the meal plan- it’s a bit different and it took me a couple of weeks to find my flow but now I can see me making this part of my everyday life going forward.



Looking forward to the last two weeks of the challenge and seeing my results!

My friend told me about tone fitness and I decided to join the challenge after her amazing feedback.

I have to say that from day one I’m really enjoying and feeling so much better. I have tried many diets and exercise before but never have felt as committed and motivated as I do at the moment.

The diet is easy to achieve and I’m cooking really tasty meals that all the family is enjoying and the exercise is challenging but very exciting, all the classes are different and I feel great when I have achieved the hour of exercise.

Just had my 3 week review with Will and although I knew I’d lost some weight, I had no idea about the body fat! So pleased to have lost 4%! I’ve really enjoyed the last 3 weeks and looking forward to seeing what I can do in the next 3. The workouts have been amazing and I really feel like I’ve found something I love doing, no contest to boring gym classes. The food plan has put me back on track with portion size control and because I’ve been full I’ve not felt any need to snack on naughty stuff. So a huge thank you to everyone and I will sing your praises to anyone who will listen!

I’m over half way through my 6 week challenge.

I was in a rut and I made the decision to stop making excuses and get active, it has been the best thing I’ve done, already 1 stone in weight down and my body shape is changing for the better.

The trainers are fab and the small classes are perfect to get assistance from the trainers to get the best out of the sessions. I would 100% recommend. Thank you for the help so far Tone!!

I'm almost in the middle of my penultimate week with Tone and so far so good. I have much more stamina than 6 weeks ago, and finding climbing stairs and long dog walks are not leaving me out of breath and tired. This is all because of a spur of the moment decision to reply to an ad! I never thought I would stick to the regime, because, between you and me, I have always loved a little bit of cake. However I have, and it's been one of my better decisions in a long while. So any new members reading this, I can honestly say, if I can do this, then so can you.

I stopped exercise a few years ago due to injury and then just sat around eating everything in sight! Having piled on the weight and feeling so bad about myself I knew it was time to take action.



I discovered Tone Fitness and all I can say is wow!



The HIITs works are hard but absolutely fantastic! I am feeling so much fitter and have rediscovered my love for exercise and the feeling of such accomplishment when it’s over and you’re totally pumped is fantastic!



Food wise I am learning to listen to my body again, portion control and having not had a drop of alcohol so far I am also saving a fortune!

I started this challenge to get out of a bad nutritional rut, lose some weight to help my arthritis in my knee as i felt in pain and basically had lost a lot of my self confidence and motivation.. So at the end of week three in the six week challenge.. So far im ahead of schedule. Im sleeping btr, my knee feels strong, i feel stronger, i feel motivated, more alert, ive cut out emotional eating and drinking habits.. Heres to the next three weeks.. Bring it on!

I like the way i can just arrive to a gym/p.t session not knowing what we are going to get up to. The classes are varied.. I like the lack of exercise machines.. Luv the boxing, tyre flipping and battle ropes, the groups are a small number in size.. you go at your level of fitness.. No feeling of being belittled or getting nervous or having to plan your session and wait for machines to do weights etc.

The people in the sessions are all different ages and all different levels of fitness, they are doing the challenges, or have completed them and carried on there own journey as members, they help you along, make you feel motivated, The nutrition plan is for me a great way to plan ahead and it keeps my eye on the ball. kind of giving me a structure in my eating...just plan,

i write it up on my fridge door, buy the ingredients.. Prep a day or two days at once. And always keep a shake in the fridge ready to grab. Anybody who wants to make a positive change to there nutrition and fitness.. Have a look at the programmes and the reviews..i would recommend these guys.

I started the challenge because nothing else seemed to be working for me. I don’t have self motivation so I needed something that was quite strict and easy to follow. As soon as I heard about this (seeing an advert on social media) I was like this is it! I’m currently in week 2 of the program and just weighed myself after a full week. 6lbs down. Super excited. The sessions are always fun and each one I’ve done (5 now) have all been different and the PT’s are so encouraging and lovely. The food plan is easy to follow and I’m never left hungry. I can’t recommend this challenge enough... thanks guys!

Won’t lie the food has been hard to stick to, but the results so far have been � worth it.

I’m loving the training sessions as well, they are hard work but so much fun.

I cannot speak highly enough about this programme. I joined with a lot of weight to lose and no experience of working out. I was extremely nervous but there was no need. I have enjoyed every session; I love how they are all so different and the support you get from all the trainers has been fantastic. I have lost 6% body fat in 3 weeks... but more importantly I feel healthier, more energetic, my skin feels better, and it is making me happier. I will definitely be joining once the six week challenge is over as this is just the start of my journey.

I am currently week 4 and loving it! The workouts are tough...really tough...but you feel amazing afterwards, and the trainers are all so lovely, which really makes a difference. The atmosphere is great, as everyone is there for the same reason, and the support from the others in the classes is brilliant. The classes are kept small so that everyone gets the personal touch, without feeling like you are being constantly watched!

The food takes some getting used to....preparation is most definitely key! However you notice changes quickly.

It’s not easy, you do need to work hard...but it is worth every second and every drop of sweat! I would happily recommend Tone Fitness to absolutely anyone!!!

Having had serious health issues and some major surgeries over the past year, I haven't exactly been in the best of shape (to put it mildly).



But three weeks in to the programme and it's nothing short of miraculous. I'm eating clean, sticking to the exercise schedule and feeling pretty fantastic for the first time in a long time! The support from all of the Tone Fitness team has been amazing.



To be completely honest, I started as a sceptic - I never believe all of those 'amazing results' and 'before and after' photos you see online. But I'm converted. These guys really do know what they're doing!! �

Now I have completed the 6 week challenge, I can see and feel the difference! It was hard but if it had been easy, it wouldn't be a challenge!



Thanks to all of the staff for their help, especially Sara for her excellent guidance and Sergio for spurring me to put in the extra effort, whilst listening to his great choice in latino music!

After years of staying fit I let myself go mainly because of injury but also became complacent with what was actually going on with my body. Age has now caught with me and it is now time to do something about it. So joining the Tone Fitness 6Week Challenge to just do that. End of week three I am 1 Stone lighter and 4% body fat less.



The classes are well structured taking into account all ages and fitness levels a great atmosphere to be in.



The Tone Trainers are second to none providing great workouts and great advice. Fitness without machines is the way making you push yourself harder.



Over the past weeks I have seen some great achievements by a lot of people which has been fantastic. Well done to them but we'll done Tone Fitness great team.

Absolutely everything I needed to start my journey of looking after me again!

My youngest started school this year so it was time to finally get fit and stop buying clothes to cover my belly and start wearing the clothes I loved.

By far the best thing I could have done!

Completely changed my attitude to food and made me realise that getting my pre-baby body back is totally realistic and achievable. Thank you Tone Fitness and your absolutely awesome team of personal trainers that really do help you achieve your target. You have made a real difference to my future without a doubt.

I decided to take this challenge, to see how fit i could get and to loose a bit of weight and change my shape a bit. The classes are tough, but the instructors are fab and encourage you, to dig deep. The classes are small max of 6 people, predometly women. The meal plan is interesting to say the least and I have struggled on this, but determined to keep going, even if I dont eat chicken again! I've lost weight, and I've changed shape so all good. Looking forward to checking out in just over 2 weeks and meeting my target. Have a go its worth it.
