Tower House School

Most of our players this year will be on the Eagles and I'm really excited to see them all playing together...

Last week Years 5 and 6 went to the zoo to conclude their project this had term on the Animal Kingdom. They had workshops on evolution and endangered species. The zoo teacher was fabulous and the children really enjoyed the activities. Of course we had time for some animals and playtime too!

The children in Years 5 and 6 had a treat today when Mrs Jordan retold a Zulu Folk Tale.

Looking forward to seeing many of you competing again this year! More details will be out asap but here is just a taster for those who weren't involved last year...

The children had lots of fun this morning dancing for Macmillan coffee morning! They certainly worked hard for their cakes. 😊

Carys has been very busy over the summer. She took part in The Plymouth Dancing festival over the holiday and won awards in the 10-13 years class. She also won two very special awards from the adjudicator. Her awards were for all types of dance including - best expression, ballet, character and Greek. A very impressive array of trophies, Carys, you must work extremely hard - and all the practise pays off in the end! Super job.

Josh, in Year 5, took part in a Chess competition over the summer and won the under 9s class. He also went on to become the joint winner overall. Well done Josh!

Just a quick update from the Senior School residential. There is lots of fun being had and the pupils are a fantastic advert for our school with their enthusiasm and energy. Weather does not look good for tomorrow.... let's hope the campers don't get too wet! More photos to follow!
