Trethorne Leisure Description
Trethorne is the ideal venue to entertain all the family, whatever the weather. There are activities for all ages and we are easy to find just off the A30 near Launceston.
LEISURE FARM:
Fun packed indoor and outdoor play areas include activities such as 'Jolly Rogers' ball blaster, dropslide, ball pools, trampolines, bungee run, pillow bash, assault course and climbing wall. Outside there's crazy golf, aerial glide, paddleboats, slides, swings and a children's adventure climbing frame.
There are ponies to ride, a cow to milk, and an 'In Touch with Animals Session' where you can hold some of our smaller animals.
TEN-PIN BOWLING, BAR & GAMES ARCADE:
The premier bowl has 8 lanes of fully computerised ten-pin bowling and a licensed bar. Win tickets on the exciting games in our arcade to exchange for prizes. We also have pool tables and a darts board.
DODGEMS:
The Dodgems rink has 15 cars on the track and at just £2. 00 a car why not test out your driving skills!
RESTAURANT:
Delicious carvery served every Sunday 12. 30pm - 2. 00pm. Choose from 3 meats and 6 vegetables. Booking is strongly recommended.
The restaurant is open daily serving a range of snacks and meals from sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pasties and cream teas to bar meals including lasagne and beef & ale pie.
FUNCTIONS:
Book your works-do, organisation or family party in to our spacious licensed restaurant, which can seat up to 156 people or cater for 450 people standing for a dance or disco.
We cater for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas parties and other special occasions such as a dinner and dance.
Specially prepared meals using fresh local produce. The succulent meats supplied by local butcher Phil Warrens, are served with a variety of excellently prepared vegetables, followed by our delicious homemade desserts.
CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTIES:
Option 1 - Leisure Farm Entrance and Party Food
Includes entrance on to the Leisure Farm, a pony ride ticket, climbing wall ticket and dodgems ticket (height restriction) each and either hot or cold party food.
Hot Food - The children choose from: sausage, egg, fish tiddler or veggie sticks served with baked beans and chips.
Cold Food - Sausage rolls, sausages on sticks, cheese and pineapple, crisps, rolls and pizza.
Both of the menus include homemade crispy cakes, biscuits, drink and an animal mask each.
Option 2 - Party Time Special.
Includes entrance to the Leisure Farm, a pony ride ticket, climbing wall ticket and a dodgems ticket (height restriction) each, 1 game of bowling and a choice of food from our bowling menu.
The Party Time Special party must take place before 6. 00pm.

fab place, great animals, can feed, touch and they are well cared for. great areas for children to play. staff friendly, shop not too expensive. got a year membership is a great place and made a effort for easter with a trail and treat at end. would recommend.
Yesterday was my first visit to Trethorne since I was around 9/10 years old.. I’m now 21... I still absolutely love it there.. had a chance to act like a big kid.. my friends Little girl came with us, and she thoroughly enjoyed it! All staff members were incredibly helpful, more specifically Dave.. his enthusiasm radiated and encouraged everyone to have fun.. You can clearly see that Dave enjoys doing his job of ensuring everyone has an awesome day! Shall definitely be coming back! ☺️☺️ Thank you! ☺️☺️
Would just like to say a big thank you to your wonderful team for looking after us today while we waiting to hav our coach fix happily to say we arrived home safe and sound but would highly recommend this place you couldn't do enough for us will highly recommend this place to anyone thank you xx
We have had a lovely evening here tonight with the family. All of the staff were more than helpful and went over and above for us and they made my 3 year old Nephew feel so special!! We will definitely be back! We were bowling and had food and played on the arcade games...such an enjoyable time. Thank you
Trethorne is a fantastic day out for our family in all weathers. There is a good outside space to play, a massive indoor soft play which is also fun for the adults and some animals to see and stroke. It is my two year old’s favourite place to go. We have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The return ticket for £5.50 is a good offer too!
This place is amazing. Its definitely my favourite place to go by far. I’m there nearly every Sunday. The lady that looks after the goats and cows is amazing she’s always so kind and answers all the questions we have about the animals. The price to get in is great to. the only down side is in the play area it’s cash only but we go to the front desk and get cash back. I look forward to coming back with the kids next week �
My daughter loved the facilities. The lady at entrance was really welcoming and friendly!

Most amazing, lovely place to bring our daughter who is two. We all had a great day with things to do for not just her but us as well. Every member of staff was amazing, polite and considerate and went out their way to provide an exceptional day for us. We live nearly an hour away but would gladly come back any time.
Just come back from an evening 10 pin bowling at Trethorne with the family. Fantastic evening, lovely meal.
The two staff we meet were brilliant, sorry didn’t get there names, man and woman. They were a credit to you. They both went out of their way to make the evening special for our grandson. Because of this we shall come back. It’s not often you get such service. Thank you. Amanda Davis.
Family outing for my nephews birthday. We all had a fab day. The onky problem was there was onky 1 person at a time at the bar/bowling area. I waited 20 mins to buy a game of bowling for me and my nephews that they ended up not playing because they had to go. The girl also said she wasn't trained on that part. Other than that we all enjoyed ourselves and loved the baby goats. Wanted to take them home.
By far THE BEST indoor play area that my family have ever been to. Great for all ages of children and adults. Great admission price and the price of food in the restaurant was very reasonable. We would highly recommend to anyone
Another great visit to Trethorne, young lady on reception was exceptional, well done to her, we had a great day with lots of laughs and a splendid meal in restaurant. Lady on the pony rides also deserves a mention as 4 year old grandson had first ever ride on pony and loved every minute, he was put at ease by her friendly manner. Will be visiting again very soon.
When choosing days out with our Autistic Twins , safety and an enclosed venue is of the utmost importance, the leisure park is very well maintained and clean and we found it very secure , only a few areas were difficult for us to use which is a positive as most places for our autistic children are fraught with danger , not here ! Our twins really enjoy the visit and now familiar we will for sure return, we only lasted 3 hours but got to enjoy most of it but 3 hours is longer then we have at other similar places , fair price , good parking , clean well kept animals and the young staff we met seemed

My children love playing here and absolutely exhaust themselves! It’s always on our visit list when we come to Cornwall. I do feel that they should focus on updating existing equipment rather than purchasing new kit - some of which does not work! All in all though it’s a fab day out for young families.
Had a great day with our two year old daughter today. She had so much fun. She loved walking around the animals and petting the guinea pigs and rabbits. The indoor play was great. There was loads of people there but it’s so big it didn’t matter. It was also nice and warm in the play barn. Only thing that caught us out was cash only for snack bars and we didn’t have any cash so couldn’t buy a drink or anything apart from in the restaurant.....which was reasonable but we were here Alliah day and a drink whilst walking around/playingwould have been grateful. Overall an enjoyable day for all
First time I bought my family herd mixed views about Trethorne. My two children loved it soft play and two horse rides. The only thing I have to say is the chickens are in small pens and need to be in bigger pens. Other than that fantastic day out great fun. 👍
First ever visit for us today and I have to say the lady that was doing the horse rides was amazing what a credit she is to the team! I think she was called soraya? She helped my special needs daughter 11 who was terrified over come her fear and reassured her without rushing her. The day in general was amazing all staff members are friendly and helpful with lots to do. the only let down for us was the restaurant £7.50 for the smallest bowl of stew and £4.50 for children’s stale sandwich lunch box will defo return but will take packlunch in future other than the food well recommended day out �
Came here for my daughters birthday treat, I was a little shocked at the price to get in, the indoor bit with the slides ect was absolutely freezing, my children couldn’t take their coats off for ages until they had warmed up from running around.. lots of parents and adults sitting freezing with coats and hats on.. kids had a good day despite it being freezing inside and out.
Came here as a child & now bring my own. My 13 year old will still come with a group of friends & be occupied. Use the return tickets which saves a lot. My only issue is that there are never enough tables & chairs. Hate to think what it’ll be like in the summer. Adults already having to sit on the floor!!
