Verdo Renewables Limited Description

Verdo make a range of renewable wood products to keep your home and business warm.

Our current product range consists of:
- Premium quality wood pellets for pellet boilers and stoves
- Wood briquettes for open fires and wood-burning or multi-fuel stoves

All are made from locally-sourced, virgin timber from renewable sources, and all can be ordered directly from us or from local stockists depending on the quantity you need.

Verdo have become my No. 1 choice for Biomass boiler fuel. They offer competitive pricing and their correspondence via email (my preferred choice) is prompt and most helpful. My only extra wish would be the facility to order weatherproof sleeves for the pallets when ordering online but I am confident in being able to add this via a short telephone call.

Delivery is via a contracted service but this was also good service and Verdo were very understanding when I offered feedback on a spilled load.

I've dealt Verdo for a number of years now and other than a few hiccups been a great product and service. The biomass/pellet market is in a state of turmoil and escalating cost at present mainly due to Gov UK wanting to convert coal fired power stations to biomass. demand goes up, so does cost and supply drops equals problems for all of the UK pellet providers not just Verdo

I have used Verdo Briquettes for 2 winters and can highly recommend them. They Burn hotter than coal, longer than wood and create hardly any ash :)

Brilliant product. Some issues this last year with deliveries but due to genuine reasons. We always order well in advance then delays don't matter. We love the product

Been getting my pellets through a third party, have just switched to you.



Dissappointed with your customer service - no phone call before you deliver a full pallet to my house. Oddly no one there to take it. Get an email saying you tried to deliver. Email back as phone is playing up, get another email saying I need to ring the delivery company myself to arrange it.



If you worked for me I would have expected you to just arrange it, not email back and say that you need to do it yourself. Not a brilliant first impression.

I Ordered my pellets on the 28th of October, it had been processed on the 30th and when I called on the 14th I had been told they would be delivered on the 16th which never arrived.



Then called again today (17th) to be told it will arrive now on Monday the 20th which to my calculations that is over 15 working days to arrive.



Also it takes over 10 working days for the pallet to arrive at the local couriers (which was only only thursday the 16th, my original delivery day) then to be told it will take another 4 days from there to arrive at my address.



Now I need to spend more money to drive 70 mile round trip and go to a different supplier to pick up pellets after work so my family do not freeze over the weekend.



Response from the company was there is nothing they can do for us apart from wait until Monday.

Verdo have been good but they are very shoddy at the moment - ordered pellets 10 days ago and have heard nothing from Verdo since - no pellets, no delivery date and no response to phone or email - what is going on guys? This is no way to treat your customers.....

Verdo Briquesttes work very well indeed but a near 70% price hike over a 6 month period is not going to see me rushing to place another order. There are plenty of alternatives that work just as well.

We had to phone ourselves to discover they wouldn't be coming

Verdo are quick enough to take your money yet we still haven't received a refund?

We ordered in good time knowing we were in for bad weather and now have no bedding left and are snowed in!

Awful customer service

Would advise others not to use this company!

Ordered a pallet of pellets on 10th November, it's now 27th November & still no pellets !!! When I phoned on 23rd Nov I was told I was guaranteed delivery today 27th. Looks like we are being ripped off. We can't all afford to lose this kind of money !!! I you can't deliver then you should be reimbursing us our money back so we can go else where. I've been trying to phone your office all day & all I get is a voicemail message. What's the point in leaving a message when you don't contact us back. All we want is our pellets so we can get some heat in our homes. Where I live we are now in the minus temps with snow. Honour us our deliveries !!!!

It's a shame when a business goes and hides an opinion or review just because it's negative or they don't agree with it. It's not up to you whether or not the customer feels like you did a good job, that is for them to decide, and if you did not, then it is up to you to own up to it and NOT remove their review because it 'looks bad' on your precious Facebook page. It's disgusting and a shame really...

I ordered on the 20th Nov received no update and calls were not answered for over a week finally managed to through on Friday 1st Dec to be advised they had run out of plastic bags but my order had been upgraded and would be delivered within the week and she would put priority delivery on the order - late but still coming! I have then received an email today advising that there has been a burst pipe at the factory and my order had not been shipped out yet so I won't be receiving anything just a refund in 3 - 5 days! Absolutely disgusting service and customer service would never use again as don't believe they even had the pellets in when I placed the order

First two orders of bagged pellets - fantastic, no problem at all. The last one...no follow-up, not answering the phone, not answering social media questions, not answering email. I fear the worst

Cannot contact Verdo to ask where my pellets are. +3 days of trying Telephone where the voice mail reports full.

No response via email. Feels like something has gone badly wrong with this company. Beware.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Order taking far longer than advised on website leaving household with no heating or hot water in snowy conditions. No response to emails or calls to give an update on my order. Payment taken from my account weeks ago but still no product or even courtesy contact to explain delay. Will NOT be using company again once (if) this order is completed.
