it's simple ... it don't get much better than this. Putting the wow factor into Plymouth, the bottle fridges have the best and newest beers and are always well stocked. There beer choice on the bar is out of this world. Great friendly people that love what the do. And it shows. Get in quick and see what I mean.

User

What a place and what a nice man Sam is! We wish you all the success in he world mate.

Had a cracking IPA and purchased some quality glasses too!

User

Went to the opening day yesterday and was very impressed with not only the selection of beers from around the world, but the owners were both knowledgeable and friendly. Came for a visit, ended up getting some beer to takeaway and a new favourite place to enjoy.

User

Warm welcome from the owners. Amazing range of bottled and tap beers. Tasty locally sourced meat and cheese. Decent prices. Excellent location away from the hustle and bustle of club and pub land. Informative advice to newcomers trying craft beer for the first time. A real gem of a place. Cheers!

User

The best place to buy beer in Plymouth by a comfortable margin. Amazing selection, knowledgable and friendly staff who don't mind people (like me) asking potentially silly questions. Down to earth people who love good beer and are happy to help you learn and grow in your knowledge and love of beer too.

User

Sam & Katie really know their stuff. We are lucky enough that they stock our beers and would have no hesitation in recommending a trip to the shop. The beers are always top notch and made by the very best of brewers! If you love craft beer or just inquisitive about great beers Vessel is a must visit.

User

Popped in for a drink last week......perfect beer in..... and take away was just as good!!

User

Lovely selection of beers on sake and love the ones on tap. The place is intimate with staff who are nice and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed my time there and look forward to many more.

User

Love it, the best place to buy beer by a long way, nice little shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff

User

Just been in and seen these lovely folk, sampled some of the smorgasbord of alcoholic beverages that are on offer. Left with some to go, quite content with my purchases. Will definitely be visiting again very soon :)

User

Highly recommend it. A great place to try new beers, ales and ciders.

User

Great well kept cellar and jammed packed large fridges full of worldwide cans and bottles. Everything for a real ale lover. Prices may put some off but quality over quantity is the priority here. Well worth a visit!

User

Great selection of beers both in bottle/can and on tap. Owners are very knowledgeable and are more than willing to make suggestions and discuss beer with you. Exactly what Plymouth needs.

User

Great selection of ales to choose from the fridges and on draught. Lovely pint of millionaire. Bought the lobster and cockle ale to try at home. Very weird. Will definitely be back. Friendly and informative owners. Ideal to drink something different rather than usual stuff by pubs.

User

Great beer choices both on the taps and in the fridges. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The only thing I can think of adding to make it even better would be to somehow squeeze in a little more seating.

User

Great Selection, great staff, had some lovely cheese with a smoked beer and a ridiculously tasty Caramel fudge stout. Treat.

User

Cool place, enough interesting beers to fill an estate car, knowledgeable and friendly owners and a wicked tasting session.

Ever changing beers on the tap.

Excellent

User

As a frequent visitor to Plymouth, and a discerning drinker , fed up with the same staple beer diet of Jail , Tribute and DB , this is beer nirvana . Fabulous place . Great tapped selection of all beer genres , and 3 big fridges of Worldwide bottled ales . Served in pints , halves or thirds , or the option of a takeout flagon (reusable and glass) this place is all about quality over quantity. If you find the asking price a little dear , then this might not be for you , but this kind of micropub is long overdue in the city . Well done guys . Looking forward to another visit very soon .

User

After a very miserable wet day pushing my daughter in her pram, going to this shop brightened up my day! The shop certainly stocks a lot of good beers and the staff are very friendly!

This is the type of shop Plymouth needs!
