We had a very interesting (and rather sad) case this week. A beautiful Comorant bird was brought into us by a worried member of the public but sadly passed away on his journey into us. On further investigations one of our vets discovered this poor bird had a rubber fish lodged in its stomach! The metal hooks were also attached to its digestive tract so he had very little chance of surviving once it was ingested.
To protect our native wildlife we recommend not using bait that looks like fish as this can easily be confusing for birds and other species and lead to further outcomes such as this one! #responsiblefishing #reduceplasticwaste

We would like to introduce the very cute Banjax! She came in for her 3rd and final puppy vaccination and to have a check up with our nurse! 👩🏼‍⚕️ She was so good and plenty of treats and cuddles were well deserved! ❤️🐶

With the cold nights setting in and temperatures dropping we recommend you move your small furries inside. But remember not to place them too close to radiators as they can suffer heat stress and can become ill if they overheat.
If you keep your small furries outside, make sure to give them extra bedding and consider moving their enclosure to a more sheltered location.

A client has come to us asking for help to find her missing family cat under the name of Ozzie (picture below). He went missing from his new home in The Wickets, Kingswood. He is a tortoiseshell wearing a blue collar and is microchipped. If anyone recognises these details can you please call us on 0117 961 6417 so we can contact the owner. (If you have any pages that you can share this on to help spread the word then it would be greatly appreciated!)

These little angels were the highlight of our Thursday last week! They were all so brave for their microchips! 🐶❤️ Everyone had a puppy each in reception and our vet Catherine nearly got away with hiding one out back to take home! 🙈

This little sweetheart is Lucy who came in today to have a dental scale and polish! 🦷🐶 She loved her belly rubs and we were all too happy to oblige! 😂❤️

Unfortunately we have had a deceased adult cat brought into our practice. Sadly we found no microchip. It is a female white/brown tabby which was found along New Cheltenham Road. If anyone recognises these details or suspects she is yours then please call us on 0117 961 6417.

Lovely team who have been so helpful with my little springer Lexie who recently had TTA surgery, she is obsessed with the vets and goes crazy everytime she enters - easy to see why as everyone is so friendly � Would definitely recommend to anyone in local area.

Just want to say a big thank you for all you done for our rabbit Deana this week she is now back to her normal self. Special thanks to Lucy who showed such care and compassion when we first bought her in.

I love the commitment to the care of both the animals and the people, that I always receive at this vets. All members of staff are knowledgeable, friendly and show a real love of their job.

I couldn't possibly speak more highly of this vets practice.



We have been using them almost since the time that they opened in Charlton Road, moving from our previous vet in Staple Hill. I have always found all of the staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, but above all else they seem to like my dog . . . and that goes a long way with me.



Plus of course, they seem to have random ''special offers.'' Today I had my dogs teeth de-scaled and cleaned under a general anaesthetic, for which I was charged £99. At my previous vets I was quoted £250.



But more to the point the service that I received from beginning to end was outstanding.

I can't express how well the girls at Vets4pets are always looking after my little Brock. Thank you Catherine, Lucy, Sam and Gemma.

Great vets friendly team, always happy to help My dog Kaci has had a operation on her knee last month and there today having a check up x Ray and I know she's in good hands up here.

First time i have used vets for pets the staff were Fantastic so good with mollie my german shepherd. They were caring very responsive listened and understanding will definately keep these as my vets from now on��

Every member of staff is very friendly and helpful, very informative and nothing is to much trouble and everything is explained very well Catherine is a very good vet and the rest of the staff are also very good at what they do appointments are always available and flexible so we are able to go after work so we don't have to take a day off we will be staying with the Kingswood vets for pets

Brilliant vets, staff are so kind, friendly and helpful, they were amazing when we sadly lost our staffie molly and guinea pig squeak and send us lovely cards a few days later, I now have 2 girl pugs and I wouldn't take them anywhere else ❤ x

Always excellent. Have been going there pretty much since they opened.

They are amazing with both of the dogs.

Last year we lost a dog and they were so considerate and understanding.

Today we had our female dog spayed and they did a fabulous job.
