Where is Rowlf? Rowlf has a new favourite hill which we have visited twice in January. It's visible from the A66 and only about twenty minutes by car from Penrith. Bit longer to get up there, though. Guess the name of the hill for your chance to win a Toblerone chocolate bar. Competition closes on the 9th of February, if we get more than one correct answer the winner will be drawn at random. And all correct answers get a handy poo bag holder!

We have had a cat handed in to the practice that unfortunately is deceased,the cat was found near Alexandra road Penrith. It is an adult female, black and white with no microchip. Please contact the practice on 01768866540

**** Home Needed**** This is Kitty aka Queen Kitty Morag. She has been living at our practice now for a little while until we got her skin condition under control, and now she is ready for a new home. When she came to us she had a bad skin condition which caused her skin to be quite sore, but over the past month her skin has improved so much and we are really happy with her progress. She is very loved by all members of staff and has such character, but living in a vets is not... ideal and we really want to find her a loving home where she can live her last years. She is 12rs old, fully vaccinated, neutered, and has had flea and worm treatment. Kitty loves her food and will follow you around until you have fed her, she loves attention and cuddles and purrs all day long. She would be suited to a household where there is no other cats/dogs because she is Miss Queen Kitty and likes all the attention for herself :) she doesn't seem to be a fan of other cats either. Please contact us on 01768866450 if you can offer this lovely old lady a home. Any skin related issues and medication for this would be covered for by the practice.
