Westbury Messy Church

This month's Messy Church is all about FAMILY - our own family and our church family. How are the two similar, and how are they different. All of our games and activities reflect something about the theme.

This Sunday [12th]: Westbury Messy Church "Joseph - Jesus' dad". 4pm at West End Baptist Church.

Our Messy Church on the 10th September is all about the Roman Centurion's whose Servant was very ill whom Jesus healed. Lots of fun, games and activities for the family to share in. All followed by Sunday Tea.

Hi, just in case you haven't received the message: today's Fun Day Activities (from 1pm - 4pm are indoors at the Methodist Church on Station Road in Westbury (not on the Green at Oldfield Park) due to the poor weather. As well as various craft activities, face painting and a bouncy Castle, there are various stalls providing relevant information about different community facilities available for families. There is also a free draw, with the winning ticket (at the end of our two Fun Days in August) receiving a basket of goodies from Morrisons. Come along and join in the fun! Graham W.

A last minute reminder about today's Messy Church (4pm @ West End Baptist Church). This month's theme is "John the Baptist", with several of our activities focusing on locusts. The Messy Meal includes Hot Dogs.

Just a reminder that June's Messy Church is tomorrow [Sunday 11th] at 4pm. Our theme this month is "THE LOST SON". All of our activities, including piggy biscuits are based on the parable of the Prodigal Son. Hope you see you there.

With reference to the invitation sent out this morning concerning the Westbury Hustings meeting, in the light of what happened at Manchester, the meeting has been cancelled. Instead All Saints Parish Church will be open at 6.30pm for a short time of reflection.

Don't forget the Westbury Hustings meeting at All Saints Parish Church this evening at 6.30pm. Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat & Green Party candidates are coming along to face questions put to them by people in the Westbury Area. The meeting has been organised by Westbury Area Churches Together, with Ward Jones in the chair.

Westbury Messy Church meets this afternoon at 4pm (West End Baptist Church, Westbury). The theme is "The Still Small Voice of God" based on the story of Elijah on Mount Sinai.

Late Reminder: Westbury's Messy Church is this afternoon (Palm Sunday) at 4pm. This month's theme is "Mary anoints Jesus".

This coming Sunday (12th) is our next Messy Church in Westbury. This month we are thinking about the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant. Come and join us as a family

Next Messy Church is on Sunday 12th February at 4pm (West End Baptist Church in Westbury). The title is "Hidden Treasure" based on the parables of Jesus about the man who bought a field and a man who discovered a flawless beautiful pearl.

Westbury's next Messy Church is this coming Sunday (January 8th, 4pm at West End Baptist Church, West End).
The theme for this month is "Listening to God" and is based on the story of young Samuel when he was in the Temple as a boy and heard something that changed his life.

Messy Church this Sunday... 4pm at West End Baptist Church. The theme this month, being Remembrance Sunday, is "Trusting God" which is based on Psalm 23 (The Lord's my Shepherd).
