We’re back out again but this time on the Rodwell Trail due to reports of drug related anti-social behaviour. Don’t make us put the lights on! #WeymouthPoliceAction

Following numerous reports of off road motorcycles being used in rural areas surrounding Littlemoor, officers have been out on patrol this morning in our rhino. We have spoken to members of the public whilst out and about regarding the issues and how we will continue to patrol the areas we receive the reports for. If you see any bikes being ridden where they shouldn’t be, let us know by reporting online at dorset.police.uk/do-it-online #WeymouthPoliceAction

Officers from our County Lines Team and Dorchester NPT have arrested a 19 year old male from Liverpool for being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug. The male was located in a Dorchester address. Our officers seized this weapon from within that address. Drug dealing in your area? Let us know. We are committed to combating the supply of drugs in our local towns

This afternoon NPT officers have been at The Veterans Hub Community Cafe helping out with their garden renovations. We work closely with the hub and decided to get involved with this project that will greatly benefit the veterans they support! #WeymouthPoliceAction #CommunityProject

We have just attended reports of possible drug related activity on the Rodwell Trail involving a group of young people. Unfortunately the group had left just prior to our arrival but we will continue to conduct patrols as a result of the call and further concerns raised by members of the public when we were conducting foot patrol in the area #WeymouthPoliceAction

The team have been out again today in the town covering lots of distance on foot patrol in the town centre and surrounding areas.
Aim - to target suspected criminals, reduce anti-social behaviour and provide a visible presence in the town.
We were even in high demand posing for photos at the the request of foreign cruise ship passengers visiting the town for the day 📸

Just a reminder that there are now restrictions in place along the Esplanade regarding no cycling between 10-1730hrs (Good Friday until 31st October) and under control dogs are only allowed on designated areas of the beach.
We also have the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) which is in place all year round to assist us in tackling anti-social behaviour.
As always, we are on foot and vehicle patrol in the town centre throughout the day targeting anti-social behaviour and ...crime related activity.
Remember, if you don’t report issues that you may be experiencing then we can’t do anything about it...!

The team have just arrested a male in the town centre regarding the use of suspected fraudulent £50 notes. This has come about as a result of vigilant staff in a number of shops contacting us. We have then detained and arrested the suspect near to the Esplanade.
It is believed that the male may have been working with another person who is possibly still in the town centre area. Please help us by sharing this status to prevent any further possible offences taking place. Many thanks. #WeymouthPoliceAction

We had the honour of attending the Prince's Trust Team Programme Graduation Ceremony. We were invited by a young person who we helped onto the course. We are pleased to see their achievements, new found sense of self and direction. Congratulations to all involved. @PrincesTrust

This afternoon, we’ve visited RNLI Lifeguards Weymouth and West Dorset to give a presentation about missing people, safeguarding children and all elements of ASB. This is to increase their knowledge in these areas for better partnership working with them throughout the summer! ☀️ #WeymouthPoliceAction #RNLI #WorkingTogether #PrepareForTheSummer
