Good news, our online booking system is now active again. You can book on our website or Facebook page. This is nice and easy to use and will give you a selection of appointment times.

PET PICTURES! You may be aware that in February we changed to a new system for booking appointments and managing the practice, included in this exciting new system we can now upload a picture of your pets to our records! If you would like a picture of your pet on their notes email their picture to info@wittenparkvets.co.uk The email must include: The pets name (if you have multiple pets please make sure the pets name is included with the photo, so we can allocate the cor...rect photo) Surname the pet is registered under. The first line of your address so we can confirm we have the correct record. Please send individual pictures not a group picture if you have multiple animals. We look forward to receiving your photos!

Some good advice about transporting cats. I'd also add that a top opening basket goes along way to reducing stress of getting them out at the practice.

As many of you will already know, there are going to be roadworks on Heywood road from this Monday 21st January until the 11th of March. They are going to be closing the southbound lane, which is the one going out of Northam. This means that for any of our clients coming to us from Northam, Westward Ho! or Appledore, you will need to follow the diversion in the picture (via Bayview Road) and come to us off of Heywood roundabout. For anyone coming from Bideford you will be able to get to us fine, but will have to go back to Bideford via the diversion. This is going to make things tricky for the next 7 weeks, but is totally out of our hands unfortunately, so please allow plenty of time to get to your appointments. Thank you all for you patience with this.

All the staff at Witten lodge would like to wish Henry a very happy Birthday. A big one this year, he is 21! Let's all wish him many more years of his kind care of all our pets.

We were very honoured to be invited to St Margaret's Church's WW1 Dedication ceremony yesterday. We were invited to represent Private George Whitton, who gave his life while serving in the Army Veterinary corps. The service also honoured all 110 men and 1 women from the Parish of Northam who gave their lives during WW1. If you get the chance they also have an exhibition which also honours the animals that lost their lives during the war. We will remember them.
