Yin-Yang Balance Yoga, developed by Anita, a highly experienced & qualified Yoga teacher & Acupuncturist who uses yoga to heal & restore balance in others.

Yin-Yang Balance Yoga Description

Anita is an experienced Yoga teacher trained in the Sivananda tradition and has a foundation diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga. Anita is also qualified to teach Yoga for pregnancy and offers private tuition upon request.

Sivananda yoga was founded in 1957 by Swami Vishnudevananda.
There are five principles to integral yoga which Sivananda classes are based around:
1. Proper Exercise (Asanas) The asanas not only produce physical benefits to the body by making muscles and joints more supple and flexible, increasing blood circulation and good balance but asanas also produce mental exercises in concentration and meditation, promoting optimum good health.
2. Proper Breathing (Pranayama)
3. Proper Relaxation (Savasana)
4. Proper Diet (Ayuveda)
5. Positive thinking and meditation (Vedanta and Dhyana)
