Ajr Jewellery Design Description
Our Heritage
Encouraged at the age of fourteen by his art teacher Andrew pursued this subject area, culminating in him graduating from sheffield university with a BA honours in silversmithing. He carried out repairs for friends and family. His reputation grew so did his following of lovers of his fine jewellery. In 1991 he and wife Zena and two young children moved to premises in Dinnington, 12 miles from Sheffield. Selling their property to fully commit to the business by living above the shop. Trade flourished through sheer hard work and skill.
Our Staff
AJR Jewellery have three onsite goldsmiths and two experienced front of house staff.
All staff bring their own experience and flair to the business. All our staff are on hand and accessible to you the customer, very friendly and there to help.
Andrew is available for design consultations and 3D design /sketches of prospective commissions. Zena offers valuation services written or verbal.
Our Facilities
AJR Jewellery is unique as we have three working goldsmiths onsite in our workshop. All work is carried out on the premises for that extra piece of mind.
AJR is situated on Dinnington high street with a recently refurbished shop front and workshop due to expansion of the business and staff.
Our Community
Dinnington was originally a small, isolated farming community, and expanded due to the mining industry. We value our humble beginnings and our loyal customers from the surrounding area.
Our reputation of producing high quality jewellery and restoration has spread a lot further than our glorious county of Yorkshire, customers as far as America to the valleys of Wales.
