A couple of ladies from the cardigan class today, each adding their own "tweaks". Good job ladies!

Very busy day at Annie's....jersey, boucle, sherpa, sweatshirt, linen, dbl gauze cotton, wool and much more. Enjoy!

More of our lovely people's makes. Well done Jim for an exceptional gillet, the standard of this is very high. Sarah is on a roll with her jersey dresses and the lining and detail on her sweatshirt is amazing! Pattern is new look 6251. I love it when I see the finished garment, so nice to share .

Went to Annie’s on Abbeydale road this morning, didn’t know this place existed until this morning but what a lovely shop, so well organised and a wonderful range of reasonably priced of fabrics. Just a shame I couldn’t spend longer looking round.

This shop is amazing, I made a baby snuggle with a one to one lesson and the lady was such a good teacher, and I came out with a fabulous baby snuggle and b4 the lesson I had never been on a sawing machine before. Everyone was so welcoming and it was such a good experience, I will definitely be going back for some more lessons.

The nicest fabric shop in Sheffield bar none add to that the most patient and helpful staff it’s a winner for me .x

Thank you for all your help today Lindsay, you were so patient and helpful and have really inspired me, can’t wait to start of my new projects that you set me up for. Thank you as well for all the little tips along the way. Your shop is beautifully presented and full of some wonderful fabrics and ‘stuff’! Your prices are great too- you’ll be seeing lots of me!! What date did you say your anniversary party was?

Was very pleased with my slipper bag that was made today. Cannot wait to come down and choose some fabric to start of my new hobby

Not too far from my home so I visit quite a lot. I didn’t realise you used to be in Chesterfield market. Great selection of fabrics and especially stretch jersey. Very helpful with any queries you may have. I can spend ages in this shop, hence my husband avoids it. �

Mum and me visited yesterday to choose fabric for a new and first overlocker. I'm a complete novice and we left with beautiful fabric, fantastic advice and tips. We will be signing up for a session and making it our regular fabric shop!

Love this place. Quality material, oodles of choice and lovely ladies. I wouldn't buy my material from anywhere else now.

Annie and the other staff are incredibly helpful. I'm new to dressmaking, and Annie took the time to help me choose fabrics and make sure I had everything I needed for my project.



Wonderful range of cotton fabrics at reasonable prices.



It's a small shop, and quite new, so some of the stock is a little limited (eg the range of zip and bias binding colours) but that's a minor niggle.



They're open on Sundays which could be handy for emergency purchases.

I was at Annie's to do a fairisle knitting course run by Bev Hodgkinson (formerly from the John Lewis yarn department). Brilliant course and Annie's is a great space for workshops. My daughter did a sewing course in the school holidays and loved it. She can't wait to do more.

And the shop is amazing - full of wonderful sewing and yarn craft supplies.

I have been to Annie's about 3 times and I am so pleased there is a shop in my area selling a wide range of fabrics, wool and haberdashery at very reasonable prices. I felt very welcome and I will definitely call in regularly. Good luck with the business.

Got to visit the lovely Annie's this morning and it was worth the journey from Sutton on Sea loads of beautiful haberdashery stuff and Annie and her staff are so welcoming and friendly glad to have met you all , can't wait to see you again. Hope the crocheting is going okay xxx

Four of us did the craft workshop as a bday treat and it was fantastic!! 2 pros and 2 beginners so a tricky mix but the teaching was perfect and the bags we ended up with are gorgeous! I never thought I would make something so great!! The staff were wonderful and so lovely! Can't recommend this highly enough as a fab day for any kind of crafter!!!!

Called in after seeing driving past. Omg what an amazing shop. The ladies are so lovely and welcoming I was like a kid in a sweetie shop. Prices are great and they have everything!! I will be going back 100%!! Xx

As a fairly newish beginner, I was so impressed with the warm, friendly welcome I received and the quality of service was excellent. I will definitely be back (probably weekly!) and now have somewhere to go to get help and advice as well as fabulous fabrics.

Annie’s is AMAZING!! I live in London but always love a trip to Annie’s when I’m visiting family in Sheffield. There’s always so many beautiful fabrics for very reasonable prices and staff always go out of there way to offer helpful advice and never make me feel silly for the simplest sewing queries I ask!

Annie's is an amazing place, wonderful people full of friendly and practical advice. I have just done a Teddy Bear workshop and came away feeling proud and confident in my new sewing skills. Would recommend to all my friends. Fantastic! Loved every minute.

I spotted their new shop here in Sheffield , fantastic service, classes & advice plus they hosted our Crafty Cakes event for Sheffield Clandestine Cake Club @clandestinecake recently. I signpost my coaching clients for their classes & fab advice on starting a sewing project or rekindling a love of sewing. #recommended
