Baldwins Omega was established by David Baldwin in 1980, 30 years on Baldwins Omega remains a family owned business and continues to offer a luncheon or banqueting experience that can not be matched in Sheffield or its surrounding areas.
Our reputation has been built on excellent food and wine and impeccable service. Mr Baldwin highlights a piece of advice from the first chef he worked for: "Pick it fresh, cook it today and serve it today. If you haven't, then chuck it in the bin". And that's the theory he continues to refer to.
Our chefs create menus that cater for both traditional and modern tastes, and every care is taken in their preparation.
We cater for functions of all shapes and sizes, from weddings to business conferences. Public and charity evenings are also hosted, so please visit our Diary for details of forthcoming events.

Our summer season at Baldwins started with Salmon & Strawberry nights 30 years ago and in subsequent years we added Caribbean party nights and then recently BBQ nights. We hope that our final year acts as a celebration!

Went last night to the 80's night for my sisters hen party it was a last minute change of plan after the original venue cancelled the booking! This was a blessing in disguise as Baldwins made it a fantastic night, great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff! Good night had by all the mature and the younger ladies in our group! X
Went last night for my daughters hen party last minute change of venue after late cancellation but wow fab food great service and a brilliant night enjoyed by all our party of 14,highly recommended
There's no place like it especially for large groups. The food is delicious always hot no matter how many people are being served. Love it and will miss it so much.

Not been to Baldwins since the 80's but was pleasantly surprised with the contemporary look of it. Had a great night and the staff did a brilliant job of serving so many people at the same time with delicious hot food.
Met my old work friends there on Friday night for the summer barbecue night, we have been there many times over the years, it never ceases to amaze me how good the food is and welcoming the staff are first class. It's an institution and will be sadly missed when it closes next year.
Lovely place , our night was fab, we attended pact charity ball .I am coeliac and they couldn’t do enough , my food came our separate and was very clued up on it . It was the first time I had been , so pity your closing and knocking down as I would definitely be back.
It's unbelievable how good baldwins are at catering for large functions, everyone eats at the same time and the food is excellent, the beef we had for the main course on Saturday night was tremendous. Looking forward to next year!

I have been to baldwins many times and each time is as good as the last. The food is fabulous, the staff are very helpful and there is always a good atmosphere. My being lactose free wasn't a problem and the slightly altered meals were perfect. Very helpful �
I had the great privelidge of having lunch with Mr Baldwin on Tuesday. Having visited Baldwin’s on numerous occasions over the last quarter of a century to sit with the great man (for this is what he surely is) was an absolute delight. To be joined at the table by Mrs Baldwin trebled the pleasure of the occasion. It goes without saying that the food was of the first order. I was going to say exquisite, but it’s beyond that. It’s substantial as well, Sheffield on a plate. The interaction between David and his customers is worth a visit alone. Also the way, in which he directs and advises staff. These young people, many of them students who will go on to great things, will look back at their time with Mr and Mrs Baldwin with huge affection. They will also acknowledge the training and mentoring they received in customer care developing social skills and teamwork. Baldwin’s Omega closes in late July and the team move on to pastures new. With them go fond memories of great days and nights. Of Sheffield at its best. Of frequent use of descriptive language. Of great wine and beautiful food. Thankyou.

Brilliant venue and plenty of staff to ensure we had hot food served to hot plates. The food was beautiful and plentiful. The Christmas party atmosphere was outstanding. A great time was had by all. I would like to thank all the staff for their hard work last night.
Been to baldwins for over 30 years on different events, if you want great food and a spectacular evening, look no further. Excellent in evry detail.x
2nd time I've been and loved the food both times 80s night a few months ago was great, I'd have liked more Christmas tunes last night (Slade...) would also like staff to be able to interact more and for Mr Baldwin to look happy but on the whole a great party venue. Very sad it's closing �
