So impressed with all our super Volunteers who have come forward throughout today, we are just in need of a Funnel Manager and we are good to go, can we fill this role tonight to surely make Claire sleep well tonight!!! #DFYB

Well folks, the weekend is over and we now look forwards to this coming parkrunday, already had a good response for Marshals out on the course, possibly due to Darrell's RD outburst!!!, but it worked, lots of volunteers have given their time, some into double figures and some into triple figures, we all applaud you all, how many times have YOU volunteered, check out the screenshot and get in touch if you can help this week, training for all roles is given, so no need to be nervous #DFYB

We still need a funnel manager, a barcode writer downer and a couple of marshals and there is only 1 sleep. Are you available to help out? 😊

Good morning, a thought for today! How many times have you run parkrun, and how many times have you volunteered?? If every person that runs, volunteered 4 times a year we would have more than enough volunteers every week. I know it's hard to miss a week running but we really do rely on volunteers. So have a think about it and if you've never volunteered or only once or twice why not come forward this week and get the roster full. X

Hi folks, a little later than usual, but huge thanks to all our pacers and volunteers, especially on pacing weekend a couple of weeks ago, as ever, we try to encourage whoever takes on a pacing role to get as close to target time as possible, the closest gets a prize, Kieron Reed came in bang on the nose of 20 mins and will get his prize when at parkrun next, many other pacers were a second or two off target too, great to see loads getting new PB's too, well done and thanks again. #DFYB

Good morning it's parkrun eve and I'm still looking for a timekeeper and someone to hand out finish tokens. It's going to be tricky giving anyone a time if we can't fill these roles 😁

User

I may have spoken too soon saying I don't need to beg anymore, there are only 2 sleeps left to our favourite day of the week and I'm still looking for a time keeper, tokens, barcode writer downer and tail walker. Any takers before I start with the begging?? 😁😁

User

Thankyou to everyone that has volunteered so far, we still have lots of gaps to fill. If you can help please give us a shout x

Good evening parkrunners, this week marks my 100th volunteer role (well I've done slightly more when I've done more than one role on the same day 😉) most of these have been as volunteer coordinator, rallying the troops on a weekly basis. This really is a role I love, each week hoping I can fill the roster, often doing a shout out from my caravan or while I'm sat outside the school gates or even on the aisles in Asda. We have some volunteers that are here every week and some that come forward when they are injured, it doesn't matter why you volunteer but thanks to you all for making my role easy and coming forward to make parkrun happen. If you have never volunteered before why not make this week your 1st time? It's very rare I have to beg these days 😁 ps this week's roster is empty, who can help?😂😂😂

Is anyone free to help with our Juniors tomorrow morning please?

Lovely post this morning, massive congratulations to Olivia Slater, an absolute knock out of a PB, we hope you rang the PB bell with pride, 28 minute pacer was our very own John Downing, well done for getting Olivia her well deserved PB.
