It’s getting to that ridiculously busy gift buying time for us and we’re therefore looking for local makers that can take the short couple shifts a month option to help us manage this crazy time. Are you one or know any. Initial sign up is 3 months so Oct to Dec and if you wish to continue (all do), you can revise your sign up again with no hours if you so wish. We visited yesterday and the owner was really friendly and helpful, and the shop, all I can say is that I want to live there haha. So many amazing things to buy from local designers. Lots of unusual and clever makes. I love it! Thankyou ☺

This shop is a massive asset to Sheffield City Centre! There are no other shops like it in town either in terms of the range of handcrafted goodies and certainly not with the ethos of trying to support local businesses on a full-time basis. It's great to be able to pop into town and have the equivalent of a vintage and craft fair there EVERY day! With so many independant sellers under one roof, there is always something new to tempt my purse and I rarely leave without a little treat for someone...and it's not always for me!!!

This is, by far, one of my favorite stores in the city. If you have the drive and stamina and want a bargain, this is your store! I always buy something from this shop because it is so incredibly cheap and I can't help myself. The staff are extremely warming, helpful and very professional and chatty.

Birds yard offers local sellers the opportunity to create products and get them sold to local customers within the city Centre. I am really looking forward to doing my Christmas shopping here.

The best shop in Sheffield - just did ALL my Christmas shopping there and found jewellery and clothes for me too. It has such a huge selection of local, vintage, quirky stuff that it's impossible not find what you want. The staff are lovely and helpful. Definitely visit if you can!

My fave shop which I always visit when over for Tramlines festival. I always spend lots of pennies, so many lovely, funky and unique products, great that they promote and support local artists and companies and even better there is one in Lincoln. Bought 4 necklaces and going to give the bath melts a go! Lovely to meet Michelle who is so passionate about her business, keep going and doing what you're doing.

I was gutted when the Leeds shop closed bit was in Sheffield this weekend and so popped in to see what the Sheffield store had to offer. It did not disappoint, loads of fab gift ideas (for friends and for me), came away with a fab pair of flamingo's which will take pride of place in the bathroom.

I love this shop unique gifts and friendly welcoming staff would highly recommend.

I go here when I want something special for someone special. Lots of loveliness from local makers/artists.

An amazing little store full to the brim with fantastically selected local and handmade products. The shop has a very inviting feel, with so much to discover - could spend hours in there!

Amazing shop and fantastic concept, well run by trustworthy folk.

A Fantastic platform for new businesses to get a foot in the door and gain retail experience...Sheffield would be a poorer place without it!
