Wow the heat today calls for a nice cool iced drink I think!!!

Went yesterday for the 1st time. All I can say is wow, the food is gorgeous... We had soup and a panini. No room left for one of the delicious looking cakes unfortunately! Very friendly service too � Thank you! X

Was brought as a birthday present from my best friend for ‘Alice In Wonderland’ themed afternoon tea,and absolutely had my mind blown!! Lost track of the amount of times I said ‘amazing’!! The attention to detail even down to the rice paper printed ‘eat me’ signs adorned with pictures and quotes from the book.....wow!! The food and drink was delicious and there was plenty of it,even had to take some home as we were stuffed! The staff are wonderfully attentive (and funny!!) we have plans to come back for future lunches and seasonal afternoon teas,and possibly a hen do in the future (he better get ready for his unicorn dancing debut-we will supply the watermelon!!)

Can not recommend his place enough a definite hidden treasure!! X

Much needed hot chocolates for the kids and I after a morning fishing. Really decent portion sizes too!

I cant recommend this place enough! Delicious food, generously sized portions (which is great as the food is so tasty) and lovely friendly staff! David and Linda are such friendly, generous hosts and make you feel right at home. Love this cafe

Excellent food and very friendly staff! The Chilli Beef Nachos were lovely and my wife’s sandwich with salad were all very fresh and excellently prepared!

And her coffee was the best she’d had in a long time!

All with the added plus of the Gallery too!

David and Linda are so friendly. I can recommend the seafood chowder...lovely massive bowl of it! Can't wait to try something from the extensive hot chocolate menu next time!

This is a real gem, the gallery upstairs also has some wonderful and unusual things to look and there's something for all price ranges. Well worth a visit. David and Linda are also so friendly and welcoming too.

We’ve had some lovely food, wine and afternoon teas in really lovely places throughout Cumbria and the Lakes over many a year but then here’s one who completely blows them ALL out of the water right on our doorstep! Go, just go. Excellent value for money and incredible food and service. Ive no idea why you’d go anywhere else. Spread the word, it’s lush!

I took my mum and children for Mother’s Day today. We were blown over by the attention to detail, exquisite decorations and the food was delicious.

The staff/ owners are really friendly.

Definitely recommend.

The Alice in wonderland theme only available until around June I think so get booked in!

A lovely first visit. Will not be my last. They may need to build a larger car park.
