Our second lot of water bottle donations to local schools as a follow-up to our Summer hydration campaign.
Our third nomination and donation was to Heath Primary School by Darren Deakin, Leading Hand, who’s two children attend the school and were part of the presentation.
Our fourth was to Hunloke Park Primary School nominated by Jo Kisgory, PA to Directors, as her children attend the school.

You may remember our Summer campaign to help keep our staff hydrated and reduce the use of plastics.
We decided to make good use of our surplus Blachford UK water bottles and decided to donate them to local schools for their after school clubs and use around the school via nominations from staff.
Our first nomination and donation was to St Joseph’s Primary School by Lisa Wibberley, Accounts Assistant, who’s nephew attends the school.
... Our second was to Whaley Thorns Primary School by Jason Nettle, Ancillary Supervisor, who nominated Whaley Thorns as an ex-pupil of the school.
It was a pleasure to get out and make the donations to these two local schools and pupils.

Just two weeks ago today, saw the start of the first ever Blachford Fun Run as part of the Redbrik Chesterfield Half Marathon 2018.

Our Finance Director Laura Bawden, is shortlisted in tonight’s Yorkshire Finance Leaders Business Awards.
She’s one of nearly 50 of the region’s top FDs, CFOs and up-and-coming finance professionals who have been shortlisted and interviewed for the inaugural Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards taking place at The Queen’s Hotel in Leeds.
Laura was selected as a finalist after impressing the judging panel made up of representatives from BDO LLP, Lockton Companies, Brewster Pratap ...Recruitment Group and Walker Morris.
