We had our work Christmas dinner here in the marquee and the food and service was excellent. Once again I would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful staff especially Lauren who ensured that everything went smoothly on the night.

Went as a birthday gift with my daughter. The spa treatment was excellent and the girls were very attentive. Shame about the pool area and gym etc etc. It was like them and us. Owned by different people. The lady behind the counter in the gym did not even acknowledge us Not a good end to the day. Would recommend the spa but not the other facilities.

My friend and I had a lovely relaxing day. The lady on reception and girls doing treatments were all very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

After reading what other guests have put as reviews on here I can see where they are coming from however my experience today was very acommodating.

It is a memebers club as well so the public can use it and children but because I chose the right day to go was very peaceful and quiet.

I had a pedicure and back massage by the same lady was lovely she was very young but qualified. Not any issues.

Yes the pool could do with updating however were not all made of money.

£20 to £30 for a massage is great price. I had a package with 2 treatments included and afternoon tea which was very filling and tasty. The package came to about £40 I think so it was very good price with 2 basic 25 minute treatments included than anything I wanted to buy on top still cheap.

The lady at reception could tell we hadn't been before so she explained how our day is planned out. Than shown me and the family around as it is our first time visiting. The only issue I had was other people will be fussy about not having a robe or flip flops.

However you dont need a robe because the therapists leave you to changed in the room they dont care if you have a bag with you they are their for the treatments. So I just politely asked can we carry everything about with us and therapist kindly said yes.

The swimming pool is the other side of the restaurant so you dont need a robe leave your belongings in locker whilst you swim.

Treatments done by Rachel were lovely. Spa area is a let down, very outdated & basic. Food was nice but waiting staff are nowhere to be seen, had to walk around the bar to find someone to take our order/ get our bill.

The treatment area and treatments are lovely and the girls are too, unfortunately the pool area is not as nice as a spa pool should be what should be available is drinking water after you have used the steam and sauna rooms a drinking fountain is needed. Also providing a robe and towels would be better lve never had to take my own to a spa l'd rather pay abit more.

Afternoon tea was fantastic.

Lovely day spent here but disappointing spa facilities. Very dated one jacuzzi, steam room and pool . Not busy when we went . Bought it on a wowcher with a treatment included lovely facial. Staff friendly. Bought a lunch meal with a glass of procceco meal was amazing. Been to lots of spa days with far better facilities.

User

Really disappointed with my full body massage. After mentioning what areas had knots in the girl didn't make any efforts to work on them. Felt like she was a little un-experienced and I just spent 50 minutes getting oil rubbed in not having a proper massage. Maybe this explains why it's so cheap? Unfortunately I won't be going back.

User

Please don't go here expecting a spa because it's nothing like one. Treatment rooms are ok and girls are nice but you don't feel pampered and relaxed, after treatments you need to get dressed (robes and slippers are not available) and walk through the bar to get to the swimming pool which is the same as you would get at any sports centre. It's not at all relaxing so if you are going to treat yourself or someone else I suggest you look elsewhere and don't waste your money

8 of us came for xmas lunch, took nearly 3 hours for 2 courses. Service was very slow and food barely warm when it eventually came. Desserts very expensive for what you actually got. Wouldnt go again.

Very disappointed about the day I spend yesterday at the "Spa" I think they should stop stealing people's money the way they do, or at least be honest about the concept they have about "Spa". First of all I came all the way to Chesterfield to spend a Relaxing Day, like their Facebook shows in the video! Where I found my self in the swimming pool area and jacuzzi sharing the swimming pool with 30 children having fun in their swimming pool class.

Don't get me wrong I love children, but if I'm going away for the day to a spa for a relaxing day, you will find yourself in the wrong place at the brampton Manor salon and "spa"

The swimming pool area, it's a separate company from the spa, which is totally different.

I've always enjoy spending a day in the spa, which I do often, and never in 8 year's I've been told arriving to the spa, that I should of brought my own towel, at least if you going to work that way, let people know.

I made the complain directly with the lady at the reception in the spa this morning, where she didn't care at all, about the bad experience I had.

User

Not a “SPA”day, no sun loungers, lots of babies and children, changing rooms are disgusting for this day and age.

Beauty treatments were shocking, I did have a good back massage but my moms therapist didn’t have a clue???? Indian head was ridiculous, it was like having hair scrubbed at a hairdresser’s, no way was she trained for an Indian massage..

the room was disgusting, paint peeled, lining paper torn and no way had the floor been mopped for sometime, the towels were old and stank of musty smell. After the treatments we went to the pool through the pub down 2 corridors and decided to take off, not even bother in the pool area.

For the same deal on Groupon I’d highly recommend ‘Tankersley Manor’ xxx
