Our regular quiz is still on it’s summer jollies, somewhere far away and exotic, to return next month. Despite this, we’re hosting a special quiz tonight looking back at all the fun of the year so far.

Went for the first time last night.

Everyone from students to old un's like me & somehow it works.

Not at all pretentious, brilliant mix of music and your staff are fantastic.

DJ on and mixed a wide range of music.

Lemme tell you about the mouth party I had at this lovely joint , we were taken care of by Charlotte our Waitress after some boring miserable waiter decided he couldn't be arsed , fortunately Chatlotte was a boss ass bitch who took care of us expertly.



as me and my platonic friend waited patiently for the adventure of food to begin we told one of the other waiters who was walking by that he had a nice haircut (which he did ) and he complimented us back , which felt really really great for our inflated egos.



Then our food arrived , 2 big cow burgers , sweet potato fries and the Dirty Sanchez, and how dirty it was... layered with messy flavours , it was the perfect accompaniment to our TASTY burgers which I waried in no time at all, at one point I had cheese in my eyebrow , but it didn't matter I was having to much fun.

We then got the chef out to tell him how great we thought he was at making banging Burgers , he looked as proud as a pickle and so he should be , good work sir! .



Final thought, get down here now...right now...RIGHT NOW, and order some pleasure at your leisure.

Food was really tasty and reasonably priced and didn't take too long even for our big group. Loved the hippy burger and triple cooked chips. The guy who served us at the bar was really friendly and really helpful when finding options for our range of specific dietary requirements, e.g. vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free. A nice atmosphere for food or just drinks. We had a super Galentine's night out. :)

First time I've been today. Absolutely loved the food - chicken bites, nachos, fried chicken and a milkshake. My kind of portion sizes - im greedy, we ordered loads expecting smaller portions. Was stuffed but thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth the money. Waitress Charlotte was lovely and friendly as were both the bar lads. Will definitely come again!

A great venue... cool music... great food. I wouldn't normally order a burger but I had been told the burgers were the house speciality and I wasn't disappointed with "the big cow" ??? Very tasty and a bit of a challenge to tackle but really, really good. The staff too were really friendly and helpful and didn't batter an eye or hesitate in replacing a drink when an unfinished glass was accidentally cleared from the table. That's the measure of good service. Well done.

We ordered a couple of garlic mac and cheeses, brisket nachos and katsu fries. The mac and cheese was so dry it tasted like plain pasta, the nachos had basically zero cheese, beef or salsa on and was basically a bowl of tortilla chips with sour cream. I dont normally write bad reviews but the quality was so bad on this visit we may aswell have went to wetherspoons as its fine dining compared to this experience.

Have been here loads but tonight the bar staff were a bit rude. I'm not young and I'm not beautiful (or male) so the bar staff decided to clean the bar instead of serving me and took offence when I waved to get served, and then took even more offence when I let the person who was stood there before me get served before me, and to make matters worse, the bar member walked away and wasn't going to serve me. These guys are only young and have a lot of living to do, but it's worth the wait and rudeness because the fruli is lovely.

Terrible bar staff , one in particular , can't remember how many times the same guy got orders wrong , spilt drinks behind bar and then spilt a pint over bar and my mate . " Forgot " to put alcohol in shorts . Concentrate on serving instead of messing around behind bar would be nice ........ The place ain't bad , but it's a bar get the service right !

My girlfriend and I visited because we wanted to check out the place after a recent refurb. I really liked the subtle changes.



However, both of us found the service to be fairly abrupt and the food wasn't of the standard we expected with the price bracket. I myself ordered the Shroomaloomi Haloumi and Mushroom burger, to which I found lacked seasoning and the bun was dry. My partner ordered the New Age Hippy Vegan option, which she also found to be bland and dry.



For the price of a burger served without fries I'd expect a higher standard of flavour.



I can't say I'd recommend to a friend as I've not explored the meat options on the menu, but I will tell my Vegetarian/Vegan friends that it's probably not great for them.

I can't say I'd recommend to a friend as I've not explored the meat options on the menu, but I will tell my Vegetarian/Vegan friends that it's probably not great for them.

Like bungalow and bears, great for drinks and is awesome during the day. However booked a meal here with work for last Xmas meal and ordered the vegetarian. Meal arrived with nut cutlet, pigs in blanket and meat stuffing and gravy. Was told i should eat around it so basically didnt get a meal. Not happy considering how expensive and the fact there was limited choice to begin with. Wouldn't book again

I used to work here 5/6 years ago, so came back to relive my love for the burgers and general atmosphere.. Had a shroomaloomi and what a load of shit! For the price you pay with no chips now, you’ve gone down hill bungalows, you’ve sold ya selfs out. Dry shitty burger bun to match your staff. Disappointed and I ain’t never coming back. c'est la vie!
