Took my grown up son for breakfast on his birthday. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic sausage and bacon sani.

Simple, friendly and excellent. Love the atmosphere, staff and laid blackness. Good is always delicious.

Our second visit here and really enjoyed the delicious food on both occasions,look forward to another visit next time we are in Sheffield.

Lovely good quality ingredients cooked well and great coffee!

After we popped in for a coffee on a walk one evening a few years ago my boyfriend surprised me by booking this lovely little bistro for our anniversary meal last night.



The food was delicious and the prices more than reasonable. We found the atmosphere relaxed and cosy, and the staff were so lovely we just had to leave a tip! Thanks, Cafe Ceres, for a perfect evening.



We'll be coming back again (a lot sooner this time!).

The Salad Nicoise was lovely and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his sausage sandwich. The staff were very attentive and friendly. My only criticism would be the baby high chairs stored in the toilets, not all hygienic especially as the toilets were not very clean either. Coats draped over a rail by dirty crockery at the side of the counter and absolutely filthy plastic trays to collect the crockery on view ÔŅĹ. Otherwise a super little place, deal with the cleanliness please! X

Lovely food and nice atmosphere but the staff need to be a bit more on the ball. There was a lot of standing around behind the bar and it took me a while to get someone’s attention for more drinks the same then to get the bill!

Go here a lot and the service is always friendly food and drink reliably good. If you can manage the winding stairs there is more space in the upstairs area. If you are downstairs there is also a toilet on that level.



I tend to go early afternoon to meet friends and they are always relaxed about us sitting and chatting for an hour over tea, coffee and cakes

Both me and my partner had a lovely weekend breakfast here. Great coffee and tasty rarebit.
