A simple, pretty Christening cake from last weekend. 🎀🎀🎀

Theres a funny little story about these 2 orders from last week. The cake was ordered by Theresa Zakeri as a surprise for her husband on their one year wedding anniversary. She specifically wanted ginger spiced flavoured cake as that was his favourite flavour from their wedding cake that I did last year. I also got a message from her husband asking to order a surpirse for Theresa in (you guessed it!) ginger spiced flavour as that one was their favourite! I suggested that a bouquet would be a lovely idea (knowing that Theresa had already ordered him a cake!) Great minds think alike and they celebrated their wedding anniversary with plenty of cake! (Sounds perfect to me! 😂)

A rustic, semi-naked buttercream cake with silk flowers from a while ago now! Pretty 💐

This has got to be one of the brightest cakes I have done! I was excited to try a buttercream rainbow cake! The inside was rainbow sponge to match the outside which I was lucky enough to be sent a photo of once it had been cut! 🌈 🌈🌈

Here is a cake from last week that I absolutely loved! I was asked to include a bar, woodpecker mat and the birthday boy pulling a pint! It was an absolute pleasure to make and lots of fun!!

#day10 of #marchmeetthemaker is ‘you’ so here I am! For those of you who don’t know me, I am a teacher with a love of baking! I work full time teaching my lovely reception class and use my evenings and weekends to create my yummy cakes.
I love to be busy. I also love to binge watch box sets! ... I have 2 guinea pigs. I love holidays! (Who doesn’t?!) I never wear plain clothes 😂 I love the friends who like to laugh about this 😂 Most importantly... I love cake.
Also, here is me face planting from a surfboard! 😂

So #day7 of #marchmeetthemaker is ‘less glam side’ so here it is!
This is the result of dusting a dummy cake blue. I later realised that tiny flecks of blue dust had completely covered my kitchen (and me!) When I tried to use a wet cloth to wipe everything down, it resulted in a blue paint that stained for days! (I even walked in it too! 🙈)

So I am a little late to join in with this, but here is #day6 of #marchmeetthemaker and the question today is ‘full or part time?’
So, I am a full time teacher (here is a photo of my cosy reading corner for my 4 year olds!) and I run my business part time from home! (So thats more than full time right?! Must be crazy! 🤪)

I had so much fun creating this cake! I love being given a theme and the freedom to let my imagination go! A Hot Wheels track that went all the way around the cake, ending in a loop! Got to be one of my favourites to date 🚙 🚘 🚙

It was an absolute pleasure to meet some lovely brides at the wedding fair today in Pontefract. I am in Doncaster next Sunday!

A Rainbow Dash cake from this week. It was rainbow sponge inside which I was lucky enough to recieve a photo of! The little birthday girl had a lovely surprise 🌈

Through a recommendation I contacted Kerry sent her a photo of what I was looking for and she was so helpful. Created the most stunning muddy puddle Peppa Pig cake for my little girl all I said was she absolutely loves chocolate and that was taken on board and more. Would I use her again absolutely my other daughter already spotted a unicorn cake when we collected that looked amazing but I wanted to taste the cake 1st before I made a decision and review. Well today we have eaten the cake and it was beautiful inside and out. Thankyou so much xxx

Kerry made my daughters christening cake for last Sunday and it was AMAZING!! It looked and tasted great! Kerry listened to exactly what I wanted and produced an even better cake than I could ever imagine! 5* service with 5* results! I’d definitely recommend!

Kerry made an amazing Harry Potter cake for my daughter's 15th birthday three weeks ago. It tasted as great as it looked, although my daughter was torn between wanting to taste it and not wanting to cut into it! I would not hesitate to recommend her cakes to anyone.
