Something ROAR-some is happening at Cannon Hall Farm…
Dinosaurs will once again roam the fields of Barnsley thanks to our brand new event partner Talegate Theatre Productions and their amazing ‘D.I.N.O’ team (Department Into New Origins).
Come on your own dinosaur adventure on September 8 or 9 and register as a trainee ranger at D.I.N.O basecamp, where the chief ranger guides you through Jurassic knowledge and then trains you in what to do in an emergency situation- a dinosa...ur break out!
When you are fully briefed you will explore the laboratory where Dino DNA was taken from the pre-historic goo. You will see a dinosaur hatch from an egg and visit a fully grown T-Rex in his enclosure.
Hopefully nothing will go wrong on your visit- we wouldn’t want dinosaurs breaking free now would we? (Tee tee!)
All trainee rangers can also report to the ‘Bone Yard’ where each ranger can dig for their very own dinosaur fossil and report their findings to the ranger on duty.

What a fantastic day we have had today at Cannon Hall Farm, I took a day off work so I could spend a day out with my little girl and we couldn’t have picked a better location for a wonderful day making lovely memories. We arrived at 10:30 and left at 5pm and still didn’t see all the animals as we had such a fun packed day. The Unicorn Festival was magical and really enjoyed by all. To see the tiny new born Meerkats was a lovely surprise � we had a lovely picnic in the sunshine and then went to see the Unicorn show followed by fun in the Hungry Lama play gym, time for us mums to rest for a bit and drink a lovely coffee. Then on the way out ice creams to take on our tractor ride. I would strongly recommend a visit at anytime but if you can make it to the Unicorn Festival this weekend then even better �����

We went to Cannon Hall Farm for the Unicorn Festival in May. We all had a brilliant day despite the weather. I think I enjoyed the Sparkle show about as much as the kids! I visited with my 6yro unicorn mad daughter and 3 yro just mad son, and there was plenty for both of them. The team there were all very friendly and fun, and did a fantastic job on all the activities. The unicorn festival aspect was very well put together. We also loved the sheep racing, and seeing the reptiles in the reptile house. I was fascinated by the Ants! The adventure playground and soft play made it great for them both too! Would highly recommend a visit at any time. We will definitely go back again! � � �

We had our little girls 4th birthday party here today and everyone loved it x the staff were really helpful and friendly and all the kids loved the soft play area thankyou for making my daughters birthday so special will definitely be coming back soon � xxx

We had a fantastic day today at the unicorn festival, both children aged 6 and 7 loved everything, I was more excited about the unicorns than the kids!! The farm was great and Park was extensive. We ate in The White Bull which was lovely. The place was clean and tidy, it was the perfect day out, we travelled from York and will definitely be back again, thank you ����

We had a fabulous time at the Unicorn Festival today. The playgrounds are absolutely perfect for 10 year olds, and we enjoyed the unicorn events, ferret racing and pig sheds. We bought tickets online and for everything there is to do and how long you can spend there, it's well worth the price. As a bonus we spotted the actor Shaun Dooley, and my daughter had her photo taken with YouTube stars, The Ingham Family, who we bumped into on the playground! (Look out for their vlog tomorrow evening.) What an excellent day out!

Visited yesterday with my 7 month old and 4 year old nephew had a really good day only disadvantaged was that the gift shop closed 4.30 we left the park 4.30 to go to look in the shops before it all closed but the gift shop had closed when we got there :(

Visited today and had a lovely day can't believe how much the farm has changed since we last visited years ago so much to see and do also pushed someone round in a wheelchair which was very easy to do and could get to see everything with no problems also the toilets were very clean which is always nice .Ate lunch in the white bull would highly recommend the food and service in there role on our next visit :)

Today we held our kids 3rd and 4th birthday celebrations at cannon hall farm. The entire team were outstanding. The kids party food was exceptional and the entire experience was superb. Without a doubt value for money since all 20 kids loved the day, having pj masks was the cherry on the cake. We will be back, even if it is just to look at the gin wall from afar!! Thank you Amanda and the team for making us feel so special. 10�

Really really lovely place. So much to do amd an absolute bargain price. We attended the princess party which my little girl adored. Lovely farm with so much to see and do including a massive indoor soft play. The place is so well thought out and spotless. We will be back soon and happy to make the 100 mile round trip to it from my house in cheshire �

Myself my daughter and grandson visited Cannon hall farm yesterday, I’ve been following the Facebook lives with Farmer Robert, David (Sparkle) and Roger. Wow, first impressions were how clean and tidy the place is and is beautiful surroundings are just something else....the animals were all so clean and tidy, the kids play areas, the farm shop just wow, so clean and 5* throughout. We are visiting again for PJ Mask and are looking forward to it. Superb place.

I visited Cannon Hall Farm with my school on Monday, this was the second time I'd visited the farm on a school trip.

Farmer Darryl was brilliant, he gave us a tour of the farm and kept our children engaged throughout the tour, even letting us witness the birth of piglets! Our children have not stopped talking about Farmer Darryl in class and myself and Miss Rickerby would like to thank Farmer Darryl personally for giving our children such a memorable experience. I can't wait to bring my own children back to the farm in the near future! Fantastic work cannon hall farm. Thank you again, Mrs Brown x

Fantastic day today at the princess party! A really good event, lots of opportunities to dance and talk to the princesses aswell as have photographs. They all did a great job and my daughter loved it. Then we had chance to explore all the attractions on the farm in the sunshine � Great place, will certainly visit again - Thank you!

Great day today shame there is less on on a Monday as we would have loved a look round with the tractor but we appreciate that it was quieter than you usually are kids loved the play areas even the bigger one and the lad that did the milking demo was great really explained it which from a farmers point of view watching others learn was great also we spotted the white board said one of the pigs was due today (ish I understand that) however maybe something nice for people to know she might have farrowed today ! Your farm shop is fabulous so much stuff in it and the best array of baking equipment and potential Xmas presents ya I have seen in one place for a long time x well done all concerned we felt awkward saying hello so didn’t but we saw two of the brothers and dad today all working hard x

I visited Cannon Hall Farm with my school on Monday, this was the second time I'd visited the farm on a school trip.

Wow, first impressions were how clean and tidy the place is and is beautiful surroundings are just something else....the animals were all so clean and tidy, the kids play areas, the farm shop just wow, so clean and 5* throughout. We are visiting again for PJ Mask and are looking forward to it. Superb place.

I visited Cannon Hall Farm with my school on Monday, this was the second time I'd visited the farm on a school trip.

Farmer Darryl was brilliant, he gave us a tour of the farm and kept our children engaged throughout the tour, even letting us witness the birth of piglets! Our children have not stopped talking about Farmer Darryl in class and myself and Miss Rickerby would like to thank Farmer Darryl personally for giving our children such a memorable experience. I can't wait to bring my own children back to the farm in the near future! Fantastic work cannon hall farm. Thank you again, Mrs Brown x

Had a fabulous night at cannon hall for the Gin festival everything was great it was a Lovly night from start to finish Lovly staff also there was no queuing at the bars loads of gins to choose from fab bands playing and Lovly food I went with my friends we had a Lovly night can highly recommend we will definitely be going again ��

Fantastic family day out , the whole family had a blast , the animals are just amazing , the park is extremely clean and tidy, the staff very friendly and helpful, we ate in the white bull restaurant and the quality of food was amazing and very reasonably priced, highly recommend for the whole family , thanks .

Fantastic day today at the princess party! A really good event, lots of opportunities to dance and talk to the princesses aswell as have photographs. They all did a great job and my daughter loved it. Then we had chance to explore all the attractions on the farm in the sunshine � Great place, will certainly visit again - Thank you!

Great indoor play area with cafe which is all very safe & clean, staff again very alert & constantly walking round to keep all areas clean �

Great day today shame there is less on on a Monday as we would have loved a look round with the tractor but we appreciate that it was quieter than you usually are kids loved the play areas even the bigger one and the lad that did the milking demo was great really explained it which from a farmers point of view watching others learn was great also we spotted the white board said one of the pigs was due today (ish I understand that) however maybe something nice for people to know she might have farrowed today ! Your farm shop is fabulous so much stuff in it and the best array of baking equipment and potential Xmas presents ya I have seen in one place for a long time x well done all concerned we felt awkward saying hello so didn’t but we saw two of the brothers and dad today all working hard x

What a fantastic day we have had today at Cannon Hall Farm, I took a day off work so I could spend a day out with my little girl and we couldn’t have picked a better location for a wonderful day making lovely memories. We arrived at 10:30 and left at 5pm and still didn’t see all the animals as we had such a fun packed day. The Unicorn Festival was magical and really enjoyed by all. To see the tiny new born Meerkats was a lovely surprise � we had a lovely picnic in the sunshine and then went to see the Unicorn show followed by fun in the Hungry Lama play gym, time for us mums to rest for a bit and drink a lovely coffee. Then on the way out ice creams to take on our tractor ride. I would strongly recommend a visit at anytime but if you can make it to the Unicorn Festival this weekend then even better �����

We went to Cannon Hall Farm for the Unicorn Festival in May. We all had a brilliant day despite the weather. I think I enjoyed the Sparkle show about as much as the kids! I visited with my 6yro unicorn mad daughter and 3 yro just mad son, and there was plenty for both of them. The team there were all very friendly and fun, and did a fantastic job on all the activities. The unicorn festival aspect was very well put together. We also loved the sheep racing, and seeing the reptiles in the reptile house. I was fascinated by the Ants! The adventure playground and soft play made it great for them both too! Would highly recommend a visit at any time. We will definitely go back again! � � �

We had our little girls 4th birthday party here today and everyone loved it x the staff were really helpful and friendly and all the kids loved the soft play area thankyou for making my daughters birthday so special will definitely be coming back soon � xxx

We had a fantastic day today at the unicorn festival, both children aged 6 and 7 loved everything, I was more excited about the unicorns than the kids!! The farm was great and Park was extensive. We ate in The White Bull which was lovely. The place was clean and tidy, it was the perfect day out, we travelled from York and will definitely be back again, thank you ����

We had a fabulous time at the Unicorn Festival today. The playgrounds are absolutely perfect for 10 year olds, and we enjoyed the unicorn events, ferret racing and pig sheds. We bought tickets online and for everything there is to do and how long you can spend there, it's well worth the price. As a bonus we spotted the actor Shaun Dooley, and my daughter had her photo taken with YouTube stars, The Ingham Family, who we bumped into on the playground! (Look out for their vlog tomorrow evening.) What an excellent day out!

Visited yesterday with my 7 month old and 4 year old nephew had a really good day only disadvantaged was that the gift shop closed 4.30 we left the park 4.30 to go to look in the shops before it all closed but the gift shop had closed when we got there :(

Visited today and had a lovely day can't believe how much the farm has changed since we last visited years ago so much to see and do also pushed someone round in a wheelchair which was very easy to do and could get to see everything with no problems also the toilets were very clean which is always nice .Ate lunch in the white bull would highly recommend the food and service in there role on our next visit :)

Today we held our kids 3rd and 4th birthday celebrations at cannon hall farm. The entire team were outstanding. The kids party food was exceptional and the entire experience was superb. Without a doubt value for money since all 20 kids loved the day, having pj masks was the cherry on the cake. We will be back, even if it is just to look at the gin wall from afar!! Thank you Amanda and the team for making us feel so special. 10�

Really really lovely place. So much to do amd an absolute bargain price. We attended the princess party which my little girl adored. Lovely farm with so much to see and do including a massive indoor soft play. The place is so well thought out and spotless. We will be back soon and happy to make the 100 mile round trip to it from my house in cheshire �

What a fantastic day we have had today at Cannon Hall Farm, I took a day off work so I could spend a day out with my little girl and we couldn’t have picked a better location for a wonderful day making lovely memories.
