Way over priced on a Saturday for pool £10.80 an hour

The food is amazing 🤤🤤 Especially the chilli chips 😍

Made a booking for a works night out for 25 of us. Wanted somewhere relaxed where we could watch the football.and have some food and a couple of beers. The pool was an added bonus.

Plenty of food. Good communication when booking meant we were able to swap some of the food choices to meet our requirements. Thought it was all really excellent value and exactly what we needed for a group of people that had travelled from all over the country.

Love, love, love your new menu and how much it focuses on being vegan friendly! 10/10 for effort and 10/10 also for the delicious food. The Dirty South style Mockin' Bird was AMAZING! As were the vegan chilli nachos :) Can't wait to come back and try some more items, thank you for giving us such a choice! Just gutted you had ran out of the cauliflower wings when I visited on Saturday :( But I will try them next time :)

Just back from a stag weekend and we made a booking for the 6 Nations, we had a great time. The service was excellent and the staff were on the ball, they were very busy but when ever we wanted more drinks they were on it for us and they all had big smiles and very helpful. Even turned the the commentary on for the Wales game for us

Great food, went twice throughout the day because we liked it that much! Fab vegan options and convincing, lovely vegan nachos options with vegan cheese; which was fab for a change so I could share with my omni partner. So much love for the diversity! Can't believe we've never been before, will become frequent regulars 😊

Booked table for rugby brilliant service from Amy. Got tables booked for great of tournament. Definitely recommend

Beer was great. Tasted even sweeter when Scotland won the rugby. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Always a fun atmosphere and has been one of my favorite Sheffield Bars for a long time. What inspired me to give a 5 star review though, was spending 2 years in Houston Texas; visiting the world BBQ cookoff competitions both years, then coming back to find that The Common room had started serving BBQ food. Not only that, but that they got it exactly right, which is really sayi g something for a craft that is rarely understood in the UK. Perfect, slow smoked flavour and the tenderness was amazing!

Drinks are a tad expensive but good sports coverage and pool is very good so 2 out 3 ain't bad

like it a lot, been many times and always enjoyed it, also great for sports, only downside is that some of the people I play with change some of the rules, �

First time I've been in and it's was good.ordered food which didn't take long to arrive very tasty,the only thing that I didn't like (beening a restaurant manager myself) was the waiting staff didn't have their hair tied back when leaning over to pass food hair falls forward into plates other than that would return

Cheap deals if you go there for lunch. Menu is tasty but only has fried food like chicken and chips, not good if you want a light variety

My friends had their food order mixed up and got a round of drinks for free. I was passed a burning hot metal plate and got my fingers scorched. I got nothing. Considering suing. Sort of got an apology, but the waitress blamed me for not listening. I couldn't hear what she was saying over the load music. To cap it all the kitchen had a take-away delivered. Not good, but the bar staff were really lovely. Also we got in the queue for pool. After about 2 hours we gave up as the selectors device had not buzzed. Funnily enough on arriving we were miraculously offered a table. We declined and went to Rileys. Not good again.

We'd been drinking at a table for two hours and were about to order food when we were asked by staff to vacate immediately as it had been reserved. No prior notification was given or alternative tables were suggested. By that time the bar was full and there was no space so we were basically turfed out. I'd expect reserved areas to be marked in advance and the bar to have a better policy on reservations in areas occupied by existing customers. Won't be returning.

Terribly disappointing. Booked a 'party package' for a group of friends to watch the Six Nations all afternoon on Saturday. We travelled from all over the country to meet centrally and paid for a pool table with seating, waitress service, food at an agreed time and so on. Unfortunately I was totally mid sold this by the bookings team and spent more time talking to the manager throughout the afternoon trying to ensure that we got everything we had paid for, rather than relaxing with friends. He, to be fair, was excellent, but acknowledged that there was a total lack of communication between the bookings team and the 'front line' staff.



To top it all off I wrote a long, honest, detailed review of the afternoon ontheir official feedback page... and it crashed!



It was such a shame as if we'd actually received the service we'd been sold it would have been great value at what was a great venue.

So excited about this place - went with bf for his birthday. Okay, issue 1, the food was extremely disappointing - seriously, how can you get meat so wrong!? Secondly, we brought this to the attention of the waitress and she basically shrugged her shoulders and said "oh well nothing I can do - sorry." My advice would be train and empower your staff (to turn an experience round), and just basically get better at everything!

Ridiculous couldn't get served....busy Saturday and no where near enough staff on...2 at the main bar and 1 on the other... Just not good enough
