really enjoyed our stay Friday night, lovely room, great breakfast, brilliant staff and overall a great atmosphere. Slept like a baby, despite being next to the road we didn’t hear anything all night or the next morning.....we will definitely be looking to book again! Thank you for making my first wedding anniversary more special.....your staff really are a credit!

We were taken to our table straight away on arrival ! Staff very nice and the food was wonderful ! We will definatly be back

Things seem to have improved big time in the last few weeks. Been in for the lunch menu before a game with mates and no complaints. Be back for more defo and book a few nights in the hotel to make some memories �

Stayed in this hotel twice now , really pleased with the room which was always lovely and clean ,it was nice to have complimentry drinks aswell and the breakfast was always delicious , will deffo be returning here again this year .

Not spent a night here so can't comment on that but we did go to "breakfast with Santa" there this year.

Gotta say I'm impressed. Food was great, entertainment that was laid on was very good (face painting was very good and free) and thought was actually put in to making sure Santa actually looked and acted like Santa. (trust me, some places are worse than the movie "Bad Santa")

The staff were also very kind and helpful and had smiles on their faces, which to be fair is more than I would've had if i had to work Xmas eve.



Am I allowed to give it an extra star for the Sheff Utd items dotted about the place?

My partner and I stayed here from 13 Oct 17 to the 15 Oct 17. I booked a Club room on the 6th floor. Room 622. The room was fantastic, very clean. We had complimentary robe, slippers and fridge (cans of pop and bottled water) complimentary newspaper left outside the door each morning. We ate in the bar both nights. Food was good if a little overpriced. Breakfast was in with the price and was a feast. The only downside, it was match day Saturday and after we had got back ro the hotel it was extremely busy with fans. But it still wouldn't put me off staying here again The staff were very attentive and extremely polite. Would definately stay again. Very Well Done �

Just wanted to say thanks for our Mothers Day lunch yesterday that I won in your Facebook competition. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful & friendly. It was a lovely afternoon for me, my mum, my mum in law and my sister in law - we enjoyed it very much xx

Great place to stay, the staff are really friendly and professional, stayed one night in room 622 very comfortable and spacious. It was a business trip so ate out with colleagues, the breakfast selection next morning was fantastic and sets you up for the day if you choose the full English other choices available.

I arrived at city centre rush hour time, that needs to be avoided.

Hopefully the company will use this hotel again on my future visits.

Food excellent and the staff were brilliant. Perfect location - especially for Blades fans. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent service at our recent two day event at the Copthorne in Sheffield. Nothing was too much trouble. Seamless service to a very high standard. Michael and the Copthorne team did is proud. Thank you

Excellent hotel!! This hotel is lucky to have an amazing staff member Nicky on reception who went out her way to ensure our stay was first class �. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to the opportunity to return in the future if our travels take us this way again.

Attended a conference today, had informed the hotel in advance that i needed gluten free food as i am coeliac, cannot fault the food that was provided for me at lunch time, thank you so much for making the day more enjoyable, as food can be an issue at these things. Wished I'd asked for a doggy bag to bring home for my lunch tomorrow ���

A lovely welcome and attentive staff. Nothing too much trouble with a smile upon there faces. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done Sheffield

Stayed 4/11/17, doubling up with the fellas going to the game and then both couples going to see Jools Holland at the city Hall.

As it was a match day the bar was very busy, but expected that, so not a problem for us. Drinks very expensive, £20 for 2 pints and 2 small white wines, excessive.

Bar meals were very nice and good value.

Rooms were clean and large, comfortable beds.

I would recommend this hotel

On arriving at the restaurant for the first time was very impressed, we approached the checking desk where there were two members of staff. We stood at the desk for a good 5 mins and not one of them said anything, no eye contact nothing. One walked off them came back couple of minutes later and eventually said can I help! She really had no customer skills but eventually took us too our table. All the way through service which was really slow she never once broke a smile!

But on a positive note the food was excellent really enjoyed the presentation of the food and it tasted fab!

It was excellent, food great, staff were great, their customer service was great and the room was also clean and very comfortable, would certainly recommend it to my friends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After an horrendous start (awful journey and then a tremendous error in our booking apparently made by someone altering computer) we finally got to our room. Very nice comfy bed, clean and well kept. We were given a bottle of wine and complimentary breakfasts for the stress caused by the error, which was great, thank you. Only 2 negatives, pillows were quite hard (but that is personal preference) and the lighting, there isn't any white light bright enough for us girls to apply our makeup. I ended up juggling everything against the window so I could get ready for wedding I was attending

Arrived early morning, staff helpful. Was good to see people not a machine.

Breakfast was quick getting seated, getting food was another matter. Eggs cooked to order which we’re fried in oil and so much of it, we had to use tissues to get The unwonted grace off .

Room was large and nice, however mold on shower curtain, which don’t effect a bath or shower just didn’t look nice. Glass door in bathroom frosted which gave more light.

Getting a night sleep was hard. So much noise and shouting in the corridors . Banging And talking was a problem for our family who were a few doors away from us.

Staff helpful.

Rooms were not that clean and the food at the bar is not of great quality or cokoed very well. Sorry can't recommend.
