In our second visit to The Human Body, we catch up with The Super Cells, who are enjoying a party hosted by Inflammation Nation. These parties happen all the time, and help to keep the body healthy... Until The Super-Cells begin to fight each-other. T
This is called 'autoimmunity', and can make you very poorly!
This educational animation was made in collaboration with Cosmic Monocle, Sheffield Hallam University, and The British Society for Immunology.

Tonight's the night! The Inflammation Nation party starts at 6pm.

Due to a booking mix-up, 'Soft Cell' will not be performing at tomorrow's Inflammation Nation party.
We are pleased to announce that the finest royalty-free stock music will be available on the jukebox throughout the evening.

There will be NO fireworks display at Friday's 'Inflammation Nation' party, despite what you may have heard from rogue cells.

#FunFactFriday : 'Don't go Breaking my Heart' was written when Elton John slipped on a stray piece of #bacon in the shower - knocking himself unconscious. When he came to, the lyrics were written on the mirror in steam. Bernie Taupin later changed 'Bacon' to 'Breaking'.

It's #InternationalWomensDay and our intern Cara has been working away on today's #animation - inspired by a chance visit to #Sheffield from Doctor Who!
