Our Craft Beer of the Week Brewer: Toast Beer: Purebread %: 5 £: 5.2... Pizza Pairing: Crafty Cuts DOTW: Enjoy this beer with the pizza pairing & garlic dough balls for £15
The founder, Tristram Stuart, was inspired to launch Toast after meeting the guys behind Brussels Beer Project. Their Babylone beer, so called because it’s based on a 7,000 year old “divine drink” made with fermented bread, is brewed with bread surplus.

We had an amazing time on Friday. The service was fantastic, and right from the start were made to feel very welcome. We only went as a last minute decision, but was one of the best ever. The pizza was fresh and light so we didn’t feel too stodgy afterwards. Every one of the staff helped made our night extremely enjoyable. We would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Stopped here for a snack before Kelham Island (attraction next door) opened. Wanted coffee and cake but they're not a cafe so no cake. Was hungrier than that anyway so I had eggs florentine and hubby had a pancake stack. Sat outdoors because lovely as the inside decor was it was red hot! Food was delicious, coffee was pretty good. Need to be aware the tables and seats outside are very wobbly, the slightest movement cutting the food up spilt our coffee. Great prices, very happy overall.

User

Pizza is amazing. Tried haloumi fries for the first time...gorgeous!! Lovely little place with lovely staff and beautiful food. Highly recommended!!

User

One of my favourite places for meeting friends for beer and pizza. The food is good, theres a fair selection of craft style beers and there's a great vibe...

User

Lovely people working there, great service, food was great, the vegan pizza and ice cream was super tasty, and the kids also loved it! Thanks :)

I'm a wheelchair user with physical injuries and disabilities, extreme pain, and neurological issues, which often makes it difficult to convey my thoughts, not to mention to get around. Since becoming disabled, I've felt unwelcome in many bars, venues, & restaurants. Treated as if my wheelchair is bad for their business, and ignored.

Back in Austin I was a girl about town, and not used to such treatment. So I refuse to go back to any place that treats me as less than human, which has been around half the establishments I've been.

From the time my partner and I entered Craft & Dough, I was treated like anyone else. I wasn't seated at a crap table out of view, like usual. The manager (?) who warmly greeted us (and was our co-server) was gregarious and professional. He had pride in his work, which is something I really miss. So, onto the food.

I'm of Italian-Mexican-American descent, and have trouble finding my kind of food here in UK. This is real pizza. Perfect thin crispy crust, not too much cheese, light on the sauce, not loaded with too many toppings. You should be able to fold it, and I could.

The sauce was light, fresh, and flavourful, more like marinara, which is how it should be. I would've liked a tad bit more cheese, but that's probably just because I rarely eat it, and it was so good. I was ecstatic to finally be able to tell my partner, "now this is pizza!".

Haven't had a decent Bloody Mary in 6 years and was delighted to see it on menu, but they refused to make me one...because they didn't have all the ingredients to do it properly. I was so grateful, because that's how you do it. I WILL be going back to get one (or possibly 3).

No one made me feel awkward or subhuman for being a disabled chair user, we felt welcomed and cared for as a customers, the food was 5 out of 5, as was the service. I truly felt like I was back in Austin a decade ago. If only more places operated like this.

Just moved to Sheffield in August, and don't get out as often as I'd like as it's difficult and I need assistance. Even though I live up north away from all the stuff I like and that interests me, and it took a very long bus ride to get there, I can't wait to go back to Craft & Dough. I hope they keep it up just as they are.

User

Can't vouch for the pizza but my phone died today and I was v. lost + alone wandering Kelham Island and the kind waiting staff/chef took me in and gave me directions to the place i needed to get to and I am very grateful for their kindheartedness in my hour of need 5/5

User

Amazing pizza, delicious cocktails and lovely friendly staff :) we will be back:) xx

User

Quality pizza and a good selection of craft beers in bottles in cans. Relaxed atmosphere.

User

Great bar and place to eat, really enjoyed my pizza and pint 👏👏

User

Good food #nutella dough balls would be fantastic if they had peanut butter inside just a thought

User

Ridiculous! Arrived at 9pm to be told they'd run out of pizza dough! It's a bank holiday for gods sake. Not the first excuse we've been given there which is a shame as the food is great and a better atmosphere than the Ecclesall Road branch. It's as if the staff have had enough of paying customers and want to get off for the night. Just not good enough.

User

Lovely food, but very disorganised. No reserved sign on our booked table (we were lucky that no-one took all the large tables as people just come in and sit down) had to order starters 3 times as they came back twice to say they didn't have what we wanted. Pizzas were lovely, didn't stay for dessert as it took ages to get anyone's attention (this is after we had stacked the glasses and boards to show we had finished). Can't even blame the fact they were busy as there were always two members of staff stood behind the bar as well as the bar staff.

User

Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!

Had a meal and drinks after a visit to Kelham Isand Museum with our Grandchildren.

We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere was good. Our waiter (Richard I think) was amazing.

Well worth a visit if you like Pizza. Good range of drinks too.

User

Pretty poor.... came here last night with my girlfriend, as it was my birthday ( we did book in advance). Was told to go find a table, sat for 15 mins without a menu, another 20 mins to take our orders, waitress didn’t use a check pad so knew at least one order would be wrong... and I was right, missed my girlfriend starter.... the pizza was great tho! No one checked on us all the way through the meal... and it was only us in the restaurant... Also I was told a drink would be on the house as it was my birthday..... it was on the bill but didn’t mention it. Over all, better service at pizza express, shame because the food was nice! Don’t think I’ll be back

User

£2.55 for a half of diet coke.... So a pint would be £5.10? No thanks. Insane pricing.

User

We had booked my husbands 40th Birthday at the Ecclesall road restaurant after he had won the competition for them to host his party! We followed their rules and made contact to arrange everything! We were reassured that the party was booked in for up to 50 guests. We had planned to pay for the pizzas and additional drinks on top of the Ines included in their offer!! I went in last Saturday to take decorations in and to finalise the arrangements for the party only to be told that the whole restaurant was closing that day for refurbishment! They could not offer an alternative for my 40 guests at either of the other venues! It's has cost me an enormous amount of money to create an equivalent party for my husbands birthday and they have offered no compensation for this! We will never use or recommend this company again!

User

Just a really really rubbish experience today. Went in with my husband and two small boys, aged 4 and 6. Ordered pizzas, and waited over half an hour for them to arrive. No word of apology, no update or explanation for the long wait, and when I asked the waiter if we'd be waiting much longer he was quite rude and dismissive. Generally just had a bad attitude. He certainly seemed more interested in stomping round the restaurant than in checking on food orders or tending to customers. Certainly won't be going back there.

User

In a rush to eat and the place didn't have enough staff to cope. Waiting staff were working hard........But!!!... my god! That was the worst food I've had in ages! A "pizza" COVERED in pesto, with an overcooked egg, no mozarella and a tiny bit of prosciutto. £9!!! Really?? Nice cocktails though.
