#30 on the left #28 on the right. Very pleased with the upward curve of the hackles, as per HvK original.

I am very sorry to announce that fishing on our waters has been suspended in the light of the PMās announcement last night. We will review this decision as the situation develops. Those who have booked day tickets can contact our Head Keeper to arrange for a rain check or a refund. Stay at home and stay safe!
Great to be back on the river at long last! Just a shame we couldnāt have the traditional Opening Day celebrations.
We were delighted to host the Peak District Junior Rangers last week and they are welcome to come again.
Our AGM Raffle at Fischerās last night raised Ā£700 in support of Fishing for Schools. First prize, a Hydros SL fly reel, donated by Orvis Bakewell šš¼ was won by Clew Hughes. Thank you to all the members who donated for your generosity.
If youāve ever fancied fishing our membersā water, nowās your chance! WTT President Jon Beer and Cressbroook & Litton Conservation Officer Don Stazicker are hosting two days next season - see Lots 223 and 226 in the 2020 catalogue.
Restocking almost complete - roll on the new Season!
Congratulations to Stuart Crofts on being made a Vice President of the Wild Trout Trust.
A little piece courtesy of Keith Burtonwood of a classic September day on the Derbyshire Wye.
Weāre looking forward to the ground breaking publication of āTrout Flies - getting closerā by Club members Peter Hayes and Don Stazicker. This will take the form of an eBook available from the Kindle Bookstore on Amazon. Much of the research, including some breath - taking close up video, was done on our waters on the Derbyshire Wye. At Ā£9.99 it will make an ideal Christmas present for the thinking fly fisher!
A season in retrospect on the Derbyshire Wye.
Itās beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
Itās been a fabulous week on the Derbyshire Wye. Tremendous hatches of olives and caddis have had the fish feeding hard and taking surface patterns like the Plume Tip and Iris Caddis. Tickets are still available on our Day Ticket water up to the end of the Season on 7 October.

Another great Bugs & Burgers Evening courtesy of Stuart Crofts and Dave Percival. The Derbyshire Wye seldom disappoints and we were privileged to witness spectacular hatches of blue winged olives and caddis. It also confirmed Stuartās advice not to pack in too early and miss these hatches.
