Thank you to everyone who came along to support KS1 with their Harvest Performance. We hope you had a wonderful time.

ALL children will need their full PE kit on Friday 26th October. This is for an additional PE lesson. Apologies for the previous information as the date given was incorrect.

Hope you have all had a lovely summer break. We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Tuesday 4th September.

We would like to wish huge congratulations to all of our Year 6 pupils and our Year 6 staff on their fantastic results following their SATs in May. Below is our 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 data for the whole school. The figures in brackets show the children working at greater depth. The final column shows our percentage improvement across the whole school. The improvements made across the whole school have been outstanding. Well done Croftway!

Year 2 For world book day we read the story of Mr Stink by David Walliams. We had great fun describing and making pictures of Mr Stink and his dog Duchess. We also had a quiz with our working partners about the story. The winners got a prize and the other children got a sparkling sticker for taking part and listening so well. We enjoyed making our own book marks. We are becoming such great readers we need them to keep our places as we can now read books with chapters. To fi...nish off our day we watched the DVD of the book. What a great day it’s been.
