Yesterday it was my mums 82nd birthday after a nice afternoon we popped into H Samuels in crystal peaks to buy her a watch. Unfortunately my mom had a bit of a funny turn and needed first aid. Just needed to say how thankful I was for all the kindness and professionalism of the H Samuel and crystal peaks security staff! Top people!

A big thank you to the off duty paramedic who assisted!

My mum has thankfully made a full recovery!

Thank you all very very much! X

We were there again yesterday fundraising for Sheffield Dog Rescue and the staff on the customer service desk were very pleasant and helpful sorting a few things out for us especially Diane who was very accommodating and the two male staff ( sorry don't know their names ) who agreed to store our things for us until tomorrow for our next fundraising event, it was a really good day as we havnt always been welcomed in the past by two other members of staff through no fault of our own, so again a big thank you to Diane for all your help yesterday x

We went to visit Santa grotto the staff was all amazing . Happy welcoming and management is fantastic . Thankyou for giving my son a experience seeing his face light up when he saw Santa . Thankyou again

User

We go here every single year to see santa, all the staff in the grotto are extremely helpful and accommodating they make an effort to talk to all the children and parents. Kids enjoy making something before seeing santa & My children enjoy being sat with the other kids and listening to what everyone wants. Santa himself is lovely, jolly and lively just what you want from Father Christmas

I've always liked your shopping centre, staff are lovely and friendly (what more can you expect in yorkshire) but today your security officer went the extra mile! I pulled into sainsburys petrol station with a flat tyre and the lovely ladies in there phoned to ask the security guard if he would pop over. I'm not a girly girl and had attempted to change it myself but needed just a little more experience and strength. He helped with a smile even though it began to rain. I didn't get his name but wanted to thank him and the ladies working in the petrol station at 1pm today - thank you

I remember coming here as a child. When the cinema was here and was gutted when it closed. But it's still as lovely as ever. And I have to say I'm really impressed with the baby changing facilities. (I'm living in Nottingham and I'm very funny about the ones I use) shops are really good. And nice cafés to.

I regularly traverse through the shopping centre. It has a good range of shops, services and facilities right on my doorstep.

It has ample parking and while it can be difficult to get a space quite often, that just quantifies the success of the centre and the retail park.

The variety and quality of entertainment that they provide for families with young children is fantastic and the fact that it's generally all free speaks volumes about their commitment to enhancing the customer shopping experience.

The centre is exceptionally clean throughout and it feels like a safe environment.

When you have managed to find a car parking space it's an ok centre the car parks are spread all over the place no where near enough spaces within easy access it took me 15 minutes to find a space and that was midday midweek would never go on a weekend, more thought into parking required.

Park in the retail bit and walk across !!

I like Crystal peaks shopping centre good mix of shops and I live having a walk around but I was there today and felt very let down by one of the shops...st Luke's charity shop I go there a lot but I picked up a items off the rail at the front door but was told I could not buy it till tomorrow as the were going to do a window design...there were about 20 items on the rail I'm sure they could have managed I went a different rail further in and was told the same thing...that I could back at 9am Monday morning and buy them then...i work...i can't believe that shop would turn money...why open if your going to sell half the items...very disappointed and not be shopping there again...talk about bad customer service...but turning down actual sales in the hope of sales the day seems really stupid...its a shame it brought down the whole shopping experience and is likely to make think twice about shopping at the centre...

Took My nearly 2 year old Son, nearly 4 year old Nephew and 11 year old Niece to see Santa in the Candy Cane Kitchen at Crystal Peaks on last Tuesday at 5.30. I thought it was not very personal or special as Santa see's all of the Children together.

I did not appreciate being told off by one of the elves (blonde haired woman with plait) when I asked if I could have a spare pair of tarts just sitting there to decorate. Why do adults pay a £1 each anyway?

This could have been forgiven if she had not told My Nephew that 'Santa would be cross' if he ate the treats' . . .I mean what the hell!! Bit late after he started eating them isn't it. Nobody said you could not eat the treats that we had paid for. Talk about Scrooge!! What a thing to tell a 4 year old!! Thanks for upsetting My 4 year old Nephew!!

And to finish off, said 'elf' could see I was struggling with a pram and things falling off it. She stood right next to me and never offered to help me pick things up which I dropped. Thanks for nothing 'Little Miss Sunshine'!!

I would like to mention that the rest of the 'elves' were nice and friendly and welcoming.

Never again though!!

Been to see Santa today with my 4 years old son.. clearly a different Santa from the past other 3 years we've been, he was shocking! Barely spoke to the kids and when he did couldn't hear a word he was Saying, what a depressing Santa!! also was crammed in with about 6 other families so my son had to have a photo with everyone staring at him before we was ruahed out..Even the elves before we went in to see Santa wasn't friendly with my child, so disappointed compared to the other years we've visited, we won't be coming next year

Visited the skating rink today with my grandchildren. What an absolute joke. They were expected to skate on a plastic material with boots that were not compatible with the rink . We lasted 5 minutes. In that time no one moved without holding onto the handrail . Lots of parents complaining . I cannot imagine anyone skating anywhere on that rink. A total disappointment !!

User

Took my 2 year old daughter and my 10 year old niece to see Santa here today, what a waste of money, this is the worse Santa I’ve visited, all the kids went in together not one on one the Santa never spoke but worst of all my 2 year old got a rattle that she had when she was 6months old complete joke will never ever go to yours again

I took my 5 year old son to visit Santa at Crystal Peaks yesterday, something we have done for the last 3 years and in previous years we have always been so happy. However, I was bitterly disappointed yesterday and my son was heartbroken all the way home. The crafts before hand were great again, however the fact that all the children were taken through to Santa together where he spoke very indirectly to the room was atrocious! It was so impersonal and my son tried telling Santa twice that he had received his letter from the North Pole and he was firstly ignored and secondly told oh, ok. It was shocking and so impersonal. My son was utterly heartbroken and could not understand why Santa didn't speak to him while we were there. As I said, we have been happy with the grotto for the last 3 years (my son has been to other Santa's at Meadowhall and garden centres and has always preferred seeing Santa at crystal peaks) but I can now say I will be warning family and friends from taking their children to crystal peaks ever again to prevent their children being as sad as mine was. Utterly shocking experience!

User

How you get away with charging people to visit your santa is beyond me.. we have brought our 2 daughters today... as you decided to cram all the families into a tiny room I couldn't see or hear my daughters when they got called up.. I have no idea what they said they wanted for Christmas or see if they had smiles on there faces or even if they were enjoying it!! Not the traditional santa experience we were used to.. my kids were squashed up then forced to smile for a photo then ushered out to make way for the next child.. both kids stayed they felt uncomfortable smiling for a camera with 10+ strangers staring at them and not being able to see their parents as we wasn't as tall as the other mums and dads stood in the room!!
