Please keep sharing in the hope of finally finding a cure for this dreadful disease. We have our very own special little curious kid currently figating leukemia. Please please keep supporting and sharing xx

User

The importance of role play is so under estimated. Bring your little boys to play with dolls and your little girls to play at brick laying. Let them play. Plenty of spaces left on tomorrows sessions and unusually even the 9.30 am session. We hope to see you and your curious kids very soon 😊

User

We could do with some help today in our medical centre. Some sick dollies needing some little loving hands. Space left on all of our sessions.

User

We so often forget the value of play in favour of structured learning. Curious Kids Town is the perfect environment for your little ones to explore, learn and play.

User

We have lots of sick reptiles and not enough vets. Please come and help us! We have spaces available at 12.30 and 4.30 today. Please call to check availability

User

Maybe we should open Curious Kids Town to the grown ups at night for a play 😉

User

Just a quick apology; we've just updated our booking system and had a couple of glitches that should now be straightened out!

Will highly recommend to friends and family . Lovely trip today with a 4 and 1 year old both had a fab time and didn’t want to leave . Will be returning soon. Love the concept of booked time slot especially during school holidays when everywhere is manic wish there were more play options as clean , organised and friendly as this place . 100% worth a visit !!!!

User

What a refreshing new concept in kids entertainment !!! Safe and well set areas stimulating imagination and encouraging roll play between children. We liked the wooden toys which is very green and stimulating and not gender specific.

My 22 months old son was overwhelmed at first but soon found his favourite area and made friends with toy cat in vet cabinet. We were they only people there as the place doesn’t open until Monday 9 July!!!! The hour passed before we new it and was time for us to leave. Run by two very helpful and welcoming women. Thank you

User

What a fantastic place! You have done a brilliant job creating this place, so much thought and detail! Highly recommended anyone to come here promotes play brilliantly. Staff are ace nothing is too much trouble. Love the fact you encourage tidy up time as well. Teaching life skills as well as play! We will be back.

User

Went with my 2 and 4yr olds. My 4yr old in particular had the BEST time. Seeing her imagination come alive was so fantastic.

Highlights - the vets and the supermarket...it was how I thought my home would be before I had kids...lovely wooden toys with 'homemade' touches to compliment rather than the reality of plastic everywhere

The whole place was immaculately clean...and just generally lovely.

My feedback would be, it would be nice to have a couple more ride on cars and maybe a bit more 'stuff' in general and if I'm REALLY splitting hairs the cake selection could be a bit more exciting. I wanted a treat with my drink but there was nothing to tempt me.

In summary- a great alternative to noisy, slightly shabby, too bright playcentres and we'll definitely be back.

User

We loved visiting this new play cafe today. The play area was incredibly interactive - my son loved the fire station and post office and I thought the well for fishing and the greenhouse were brilliant play areas I hadn’t seen before elsewhere. The staff were very friendly and attentive - I was even offered a free drink whilst breastfeeding, which was very kind. We will definitely be back!

Just one idea for an improvement - maybe some more sounds, as I think only the fire engine flashed and sounded it’s siren. Could there be a self service till in the shop which beeps, or even just some music playing whilst the children play? Can’t fault anything else though - it’s a brilliant idea to only have a set number of children playing in time slots and I think the time offered was right. Thanks for having us!

User

Visited this morning with my 2.5 year old and my 10 month old and it was fab! So much for them to do and explore and very safe with there being limited numbers of children allowed on each session! It was very clean and my daughters didn’t need to wait to use everything as there were enough things to go around. Very good for their imaginative play and we will definitely be back again!

User

Travelled from Manchester today with two nearly 4 year olds and two toddlers and it was well worth the effort. The boys played constantly for 80 minutes without a break, letting their imaginations run wild. This is the perfect place for them to do so. So much for them to explore, role play and enjoy. What a fantastic little gem this is. We will definitely be back.

User

This place is brilliant! We booked ahead and it is a good job we did as the session was full. My little one absolutely loved it, she cried when we left. There is so much to see and do and I love the attention to detail, like the milk bottles outside of the shops. Staff were really friendly and coffee was good. Can’t wait to come back soon!

User

This place is amazing!! It was recommended to us by a friend who had gone earlier in the week. The kids (aged 2 and 5) absolutely loved it. Every detail had been thought of and it was children’s play at its best! A great way to develop children imagination and play skills. Would definitely recommend to others and will be back again soon. Thanks.

User

Really lovely place slightly more expensive than a play centre wasnt sure if it was worth it but was proved wrong. there's lots todo the time went really fast. Attention to detail from syringes and xrays in the doctors house to a sink and shower head to wash the toy dogs very cute. Every child looked like they were having fun. Great that only so many allowed per slot so wasn't overcrowded and he got to explore each room and chose a favourite.

User

Phoned on Friday as a last minute alternative to my daughter's garden party this sunday as it was forecast to rain. The owner found a session that could cater for our 9 guests, allowed us to push tables together so we could fit everyone round, gave my daughter a free t shirt, let my daughter ring the bell for tidy up time and let us stay for 10 mins after everyone had left so we could sing and cut the cake. Really impressed and grateful to curious kids town for saving the day! My daughter and all her friends absolutely loved the party! Thank you! Xx

User

My 4 year old had the time of his life yesterday playing in this fantastic mini village. He got fully into role in each area and his comment afterwards was ‘that was fantastic but I’ve run out of energy to play’! He has never really enjoyed traditional play centres (neither have I) but being able to book a place here and know it won’t be crowded was perfect. He also learnt so much with the realistic settings and signs without even realising he was learning! I’d pay double! Thank you Curious Town.

User

My 2 year old had the best time here today thank you! She absolutely loved the shop and cafe rooms, they are so well stocked and the trolleys made it even more exciting. I like the fact the numbers are limited so that we got chance to play in every room. The snacks are very reasonably priced too. x

User

Me and Joseph loved curious kids town today!! What an amazing place for little ones, and I love that the sessions are pre booked so you don't have too many kids at once, it gives the kids room to play and explore which Joseph did! He loved it thank you Sam and Rachel you were both ever so friendly and chatty, we'll be back next week x

User

I’ve been waiting for something like to head up North & it didn’t disappoint (in any way)! I took my 2 & a half year old this morning & he absolutely loved it. The smile on his face for the duration of the session was great. He explored each of the different areas, enjoyed dressing up & loved playing with the quality toys. The staff were lovely & this’ll definitely be one of our regular places as I enjoyed it just as much as my LB

User

It's like Sheffield's very own Biggleton! My 2.5 year old loved it here and was happy playing and exploring on his own, which gave me a little break. It is a safe environment with lots to keep curious minds occcupied. The owner/staff are lovely and friendly. Definitely somewhere that we will be going back to and i highly recommend it to others. Just a tip - they sell snacks but no meals so be prepared or go with full tummies!

User

I rarely leave reviews on Facebook but this place deserves one. My son is 2.5 and had the best time here today. There’s so much to do, it’s a good size and whilst it was quiet when we were there, I am sure the numbers they have planned will work well.

I feel like they have thought of everything, both in terms of the level of detail for each area and finer touches like the handle for the exit door not being at child level so you don’t have to worry about your child bolting to the car park just for kicks.

This place deserves to do really well. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back very soon!

User

Fabulous new little place! So clean and well equipped for wheelchair access. We’re getting to chat over a hot and cold drink while our 5-2 year olds are letting their imagination run wilded!

Have suitable food for milk free diet! Super little place, highly recommended. Thank you lovely ladies!

User

Definitely reinvented the indoor play concept - timed slots, book in advance, low numbers to allow children to play comfortably. What more could you need? My toddler and baby both loved the little town. It had plenty for them to play with in the time given. My little one especially loved the supermarket which was amazingly stocked. Loved the wooden toys used throughout. The whole place was very clean, baby changing in the toilets and loved the dress up in each shop/area. Potential ideas for the future - more interactivity such as hairdryer with sounds for the hairdressers. Also, my little one would have loved a laundrette as she loves washing machines. I get why the cafe options are basic too - the turn-around between sessions is tight for staff so it isn’t the kind of place to eat food etc. It doesn’t need this though as it’s all about the amazing play and should stay this way!
