I highly recommend it because I have various food allergies and I have eaten safely here regularly for awhile and the staff are always accommodating to my needs !!!

We had a fantastic night booked for 8 people online unfortunately the booking was misplaced but the staff found us a table straight away and apologised for the mistake the food came very fast under 20 mins and was cooked to perfection fantastic food and services highly recommend

Love the new menu and the Apocolypse 48oz steak challenge was awesome.

Just amazing every time, Richard is just the loveliest guy. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

We go for our girly get togethers, which we all love.

I come here regular, never had a bad meal. Staff are friendly and over all realy attentive. Nothing's too much trouble. I would highly recommend to anyone who fancies a nice meal in a friendly warm pub to visit here. The prices are very good too! Food served till 10pm is great stuff. Will be in again before Christmas I'm sure. one member of staff called Laura I believe she's so polite and cheerful. Always has a smile and greets us on arrival at the bar. Fab stuff. ☺

Beautfully cooked meals, we had mixed grills and hunters chicken, steaks cooked just as we had asked and very large portion size too. Compliments to the kitchen staff. Special mention to the young lady who served us as we first walked in and at our table, nothing too much trouble even tho she was very busy. Can’t fault it. Five stars. Will definitely be going here again instead of Fox & Crown even tho it’s a little further for us to travel. Highly recommend.

Fantastic night ! 12 of us and a baby booked in for my sons 13th Bday last night . Food was great ... brilliant value for money ! Staff were great ... Jordan... Anna ... Samantha and Lauren ! Made it a great night for us all :) x

My husband and I went for a treat on the spur of the moment instead of cooking at tea time . Very busy as always but found an unreserved table . Waiting time was increased but less time than the half hour stated . Beautiful Rib Eye Steak s with peppercorn sauce cooked perfectly as requested , boiling hot sizzling platter of mouthwatering onions mushrooms and tomatoes , peas and crisp golden chips and a side order of gorgeous onion ring stacker with 4 sauces . Attentive friendly prompt service as always and a lovely hot latte coffee to end meal . We will be back again and again . Thank you . We have never been disappointed .

Booked our club Christmas do here... quite late contacting them but they booked 16 of us in regardless... We had a brilliant night, food all hot and orders delivered together, no mistakes..staff very helpful and friendly.. many thanks..

4 of us out for late lunch sunday 14th jan. Ordered 2 mixed grills, 1 10oz ribeye and large hunters chicken. Absolutly fabulous all the meats were cooked perfect and came out really quickly even tbough they were busy. Four clean plates at the end. Staff really nice and lovely atmosphere. Great meal.

Staff as usual friendly and welcoming nothing too much trouble! Only two problems 1st choice beer not available 2nd 1st choice meal unavailable!

Popped in for a meal with the family. Ordered 5 meals, which were very reasonably priced. They came promptly and were piping hot. Tasted brilliant! 5 empty plates.

The staff were helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to help.

The only thing that let it down were the toilets. Definitely in need of some repairs and renovation

Very welcoming friendly experience for us Luton fans yesterday. Pleasant doormen and staff, an excellent Mixed Grill and couple of drinks pre match, even going back in after the match (we deservedly lost 2-0) for a drown our sorrows drink, to let the crowd drift off.



Recommend it to any fellow football fans travelling to nearby Chesterfield FC. (y)
