We've stayed in several Double Tree hotels & this one is beautiful, clean, very friendly staff & excellent facilities. We will definitely be going back very soon. Thankyou for making us feel welcome.

We enjoyed our stay here. Lovely comfortable room, friendly and caring staff, lovely breakfast. Very convenient for our event in Sheffield but also very easy access to the Peak District, just a few minutes drive away.

This is one of the best Hilton Group hotels I've stopped in. The facilities are spot on with a pool ,gym and spa all on site. The reception and all other staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and reasonably well appointed. The rooms do seem in need of a freshen up- for intance both of the sealed units in our window had blown and needed replacing. They are currently adding an extension to the hotel (finish Sept 2017) so here's hoping they will freshen the existing rooms. I'll still say 5* because we both love this hotel.

Just returned from a chilled stay. Everything was fab, especially breakfast which is always plentiful.

I can not fault this hotel. The hotel is clean plenty of parking the rooms are really lovely the food good and the staff more than helpful what more does anyone want?

Home after staying at this wonderful hotel on the Chatsworth break Fantastic value lovely food very clean room with everything you need very comfortable bed but the icing on the cake are the helpful friendly staff Thank you for looking after us

Absolutely love it.....you could never say no to their welcome warm choco cookies���the steam room, sauna and pool spot on...only downside they close too early...probably consider extending it during spring/summer.

The room is spacious..bed and pillows too comfy...staff are ever so friendly and accomodating...

Thought this was a lovely hotel although didn’t use all the facilities as only used as stop over after attending evening with Frank Bruno dinner in one of their function rooms ,had one of the new rooms and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The staff were very pleasant especially the welcome when registering in. My only comment would be that I thought the breakfast was a little on the pricey side but I guess this goes with the Hilton name,would certainly consider staying again.

Stayed overnight with my 6 year old son as we were visiting family in the area. The warm cookies on arrival were a lovely treat. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was spot on. Breakfast was everything you could possibly want, bacon and saysage were really tasty and well cooked. A lovely lady gave my son some sweeties for later so he loved it! Will definitely be using this hotel again when every member of staff is smiling and helpful I consider it a good sign and a very rare thing! Thanks all 😊

Myself and my friend both spent time in the spa and had a back, neck and shoulder massage which was excellent!. Followed by afternoon tea which was delicious..staff are lovely and friendly.. A great hotel and the bar is a lovely, relaxing area to enjoy food and drinks...all in all a great day...booked to go again in a couple of months time.

Aways try and stay at DoubleTree hotels Staff where fantastic and very friendly. Cookies as good as normal. We had bar food which was really good and staff where great. The room was a little disappointing because it was cold when we first got in but soon warmed up. Over all it was good but not the best we have stayed in in this chain

Receptionist was really lovely and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. Although the food in the restaurant was absolutely divine there were a few lapses in the overall experience and detail. The table we were shown to had crumbs left on it and wasn't cleaned and there were crumbs on the floor. The starter that I had chosen was no longer on the menu but wasn't told this until ordering. The gap between starter and main meal was quite long. I would certainly eat there again, it hasn't put me off at all and I would stay here again as it has a lovely atmosphere.

Absolutely fantastic Indian head massage - Janine is gifted- one of the best treatments i’ve experienced. Slightly disappointed with the spa facilities - jacuzzi was half empty and cold whilst the pool was overly warm (think the heaters were mixed up) and the steam room didn’t have any steam! Sauna was good and overall my husband and I enjoyed our relaxing groupon offer but I don’t think we’d return.... better facilities available in our own local leisure complex!

We are regular doubletree users, we always look for one whenever we travel and we use our local for the spa and party’s. However we stayed here in Sheffield on Saturday, and although the hotel itself was lovely, clean and the staff were friendly. The neighbours on the second floor were extremely loud from around 5.30am. Banging on the doors and shouting. This lasted to around 8am. No staff came to tell them to be quiet despite calling reception.

I was very disappointed because the slightly later check out appealed to us due to the long journey home. It completely ruined our stay here.

Very substandard when it comes to cleaniness. Our bathroom has not seen a good scrub for a while and the shower curtain was FULL of mould, no idea how that could get past house keeping. I have never seen anything like it and I have stayed at all kinds of hotels in the past. Having to run around and ask for a change of curtain is also unacceptable. Whoever manages this hotel should stay in a real 4-star establishment to see the diffrence. Maybe take a R&R at Hilton Bournemouth.

Hotel - great. Restaurant - bad. I stayed at the hotel on business and the food was disappointing. Good starter / terrible main. I left my entire plate (ordered the curry which was just a paste texture with no sauce and very overpowering herbs) I did mention this to the server and he simply said he would pass it on to the kitchen. No offer of anything else /replacement. A better solution to any customer problems is needed.

As a one-off myself and my sister stayed here for two nights in October for a family birthday....despite there being numerous empty rooms we were given a disabled room-rather nice but we wanted a bath-when we went to use the phone in our room to order some food the phone didn't work!!I eventually found a member of staff and she rang down herself from an empty room and gave the order.another hour passed so I had to search(if you're wondering why I did not walk down to reception myself I did not see that I ought to)....found another member of staff to place our order!!(£5 to bring it to our room seemed aa bit steep especially all the messing about I had to do!)....we were asked for feedback and are Still waiting nearly 6 months later!!!....Never Again!!!

Room was looking rather worn, carpet fading, TV not working, bathroom really needed a deep clean,we were really disappointed ,it's the worst hilton hotel we have ever stayed at ,breakfast was a joke,

Dirty plates/cups ,no coffee, no crosaint,no fresh orange, had to settle for cornflakes when l finally found a dish,

UNFORTUNATLY AND DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE USING THIS HOTEL AGAIN
