We're helping to call for the re-opening of Sheffield City Airport at the end of the Parkway by the M1. It was built and first opened in 1997 quickly becoming very successful, but was forced to close as a public airport 5 years later in 2002 following the removal of the fire service, security, air-traffic controllers and radar landing systems. It's all still there but needs a BIG push to call for its re-reinstatement. Please have a look at this link. Thanks
