As I walked into the garage and saw my filthy car I quipped to Ivan ŌĆśŌĆ£youŌĆÖd think theyŌĆÖd have washed it for ┬Ż570ŌĆØ. I went into the office to pay the very male mechanic, Ivan looks him straight in the eye and says ŌĆ£you could have washed it for ┬Ż570ŌĆØ. Wonderful morning spent basking in the sunshine with the wonderful team at the cafe. This lot always manage to bring a smile to my face, even on the dreariest of days. And now, even vegan icecream. ­¤ÆĢ­¤ÖÅ­¤Å╝

We love EPIC for it's atmosphere, surroundings and great menu, they even do veggie and vegan food and milkshakes! :-)

Every time I come to the cafe your staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I've been to millhouses and graves park cafe in the last two days and their staff are rude, short and sour faced. They clearly don't want to be there, whereas your staff always seem to be having fun and smiling.

Please keep your brilliant customer service up and those lovely smiles! They make a huge difference!

A proper park cafe with yummy food.

I actually love this place. The only thing that spoils it are the people who don't put their dogs on leads at the cafe, especially on weekday mornings when there are loads of dog walkers there who don't care how their dogs affect anyone else. I'm a dog owner myself, I'm not anti-dog. Lots of people - and other dogs - are scared of dogs and it's just considerate to have dogs on leads around cafes where there are lots of kids, food and other dogs. My dog has been attacked there by an off lead dog when he was on lead. ’┐Į

Always love breakfast here on a Sunday but not liking recent menu changes: roasted tomatoes still hard instead of tinned, no full full English anymore :-(

First of all I'd like to say how much I have enjoyed using the cafe over the years. Up until recently it has always been a friendly, welcoming place to visit. Service has always been good and the food and drinks have been very nice.



As a teacher, myself and my colleagues have been bringing groups of children to Endcliffe Park, around this time of year, for the last 7 years. We've always stopped off at the cafe and had our packed lunches. As adults we've always gone into the cafe to purchase drinks and food and this has always been acceptable.



Sadly, for the first time ever, we were greeted by a sullen and very rude member of staff (it may have been the owner, I'm not sure). Upon our arrival and getting seated, before we'd had time to make our customary visit inside the cafe to purchase drinks and make staff aware of our attendance, we were greeted with a hugely sarcastic and snidey comment of, "nice of you to ask permission." This took us by surprise as we were only doing what we'd always done. We begged the gentleman's pardon and he repeated, in the same sarcastic tone, "nice of you to ask permission."



Now, apart from the fact that it was so rude as to be rather astonishing, we'd not actually had time to go inside and inform them of our arrival and check it was OK to sit outside. In addition, this really isn't the way to deal with customers. We all totally understand that if other paying customers arrived we would move on (there was nobody outside as the weather was rather poor). If the gentleman in question had said something along the lines of, "excuse me, it's fine to sit there as long as you agree to move if other customers arrive" we would have been only too happy to agree. As it was, his actions were rude in the extreme.



All adults usually buy from the cafe and the children often spend their money in the cafe once they've eaten their dinner (45 children over 2 days, spending upto ┬Ż5 isn't to be sniffed at for any business). They won't be spending it in the cafe this time, nor in the future. The rudeness of that one member of staff has rather backfired.
