Had a brilliant day today, went to a workshop to learn how to make Kombucha - which is fermented tea, an amazing drink that is full of bacteria that supports the gut.
Looking forward to sharing this great information on making your own kombucha to keep our guts functioning well.
Can use fruit to flavour it, it's fizzy with a fruity taste too!

Seasonal allergies part 2 Got cut off by poor internet 😐

User

Seasonal allergies are affecting a lot of people at present. I just wanted to share what essential oils can do for this😊

User

Besides having amazing oils this is the other reason I love DōTERRA oils so much!! 😊😘

Just been sharing some essential oils today, getting them ready to post out. Lots of seasonal allergies around so sending a blend of lavender, lemon and peppermint. I give you three golden words, say them with me: Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint. These three essential oils are a powerful all-natural antihistamine which work to cool inflammation caused by allergies. Essential oils have the ability to fight inflammation and boost the immune system. They can help detoxify the body a...nd fight infections, bacteria, parasites, micro-orgranisms and harmful toxins. They reduce the bodies susceptibility to outside sources and reduce the over reaction to the immune system which is faced with a harmless intruder. LAVENDER Calming, cleansing and anti-inflammatory. It can reduce swelling in the airways, relieve headaches and calm the nervous system. LEMON Cleansing, immunity enhancer and anti-inflammatory. Incredibly helpful for asthmatics, especially when pollen hits the airways and causes inflammation. Citrus is known for its uplifting scent which can help with the fatigue which follows an allergic reaction. Being an immunity booster this will help build your immune system to fight off allergens. (remember lemon increases photosensitivity so apply appropriately when going into direct sun)
PEPPERMINT Headache reliever, airway clearer. Helps boost energy. Inhaling can have immediate effects on scratchy throats and blocked sinuses. It is in expectorant which provides relief as it aids in ridding phlegm and reduces inflammation.
How to apply? Can’t diffuse the oils in the rollerball, need the single oils!! You can use these three oils as a blend or singularly. I tend to diffuse them in the home as this is where my allergies are the worst. Diffusing will also help build you immune system if you are not suffering within the home ( it's not pointless). Lemon oil for example can kill bacteria in the air and eliminate allergy triggers. You can also use it in natural cleaners to help ward off my in home allergens. You can also apply with a roller ball, this is where the blend comes in really handy when on the go. Especially when going into environments you know will be a trigger. See my recipes below.
SEASONAL ALLERGY BLEND:
Diffuse: 2-3 drops of each essential oil (Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint) 3 times a day
Rollerball: blend 2 drops of each of the three oils, and fill with a carrier oil in a 5ml roller bottle For little kids 1 drop of each oil is enough and fill with carrier oil in 10ml. (if your kid is sensitive to peppermint replace with cedarwood, always test on the soles of the feet first and this is for 3yr+) Apply to soles of feet, behind ears, back of neck and across the nose. Apply at least 3 x a day, can apply as often as needed.

So I am also totally into natural plant medicine, namely - Essential Oils.
With all the talk about cannabis oil at the moment, I just want to introduce Copaiba which also affects cannabinoid receptors. I love this video which shows how it is harvested in the Amazon Rain Forest! https://youtu.be/jrYaOlDkDA4

Mums
Your tummy expands during a pregnancy. The muscles are attached into connective tissue in the centre which stretches during this period. Postnatal this can reduce on it's own or it can need some support!
... We need to work on posture, soft tissue tender spots, nutrition, breathing -especially using the diaphragm and finally then focused exercise.
Want to know more about the diastasis healing programme I offer then check out here. https://focusandmove.co.uk/treatment-for- diastasis-recti/

As we go through the different stages of our lives as women from postnatal to recovery to Peru and menopausal/post-menopausal our pelvic health is not always as good as we’d like!!
There are also incontinence pads sold daily to support us ladies.
However being consistent with movement based pelvic floor exercise makes a huge difference to our pelvic health and also our confidence!!
... Watch out for upcoming pelvic health workshops.
I can’t wait to share that pelvic floor exercises are NOT squeeze and lift in sitting BUT work together with the whole body!!
