Went into Funky Divas Crystal Peaks today for my 3 year old son to have his hair cut, as you can imagine the drama of it all as he hated it and it was only the second time in his life he's had it cut, the man that cut it for him had the patience of a saint! He did a lovely trim for him through all of my son's tears! I wish I had got his name, he had tattoos and piercings, and he was wearing a cap. I just wanted to say thank you to him! He was quick and patient and my son's hair looks lovely! Also sorry if you ended up with a massive headache afterwards!! Lol

Went in with 100 colours in my hair and a frazzled, frizzy mess. Came out with the most gorgeous hair cut and colour IŌĆÖve ever had. The only time my hair has ever stayed straight for longer than five seconds. Lauren was chatty, knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do. 10/10. I will definitely be revisiting the City Road branch.

Was in this morning to have both of my sons hair cut.

One of my sons is autistic and can be a bit challenging when it comes to actually bringing him into the salon. He saw Andrew this morning for his haircut. Andrew was great when it came to engaging with my son, which was refreshing. My son even allowed the use of the hair dryer, which would usually give him anxiety and send him into a meltdown. SO BIG thanks to both the lads who saw to my boys and gave them wonderful haircuts, but also a special shout out to Andrew for being a superstar.

Thank you so much to Sam today !! HeŌĆÖs been such a life saver, transformed my hair completely and made me so happy. IŌĆÖve had such an amazing experience from a consultation right through to the finishing product. Every single member of staff have been outstanding and were so welcoming!! I couldnŌĆÖt be any happier, Sam and the team have completely changed my views on going to the hairdressers, I felt so relaxed throughout the whole experience and I couldnŌĆÖt be any more happier. I've been having my hair done with Jo at Hillsborough now for over 5 years! She knows exactly what I want doing and I always feel great! I used to home dye my hair and she respected that, then with a little patience and lots of care I went blonde and will never go back!! A lovely lass who I have a giggle with every month lol! Had such a lovely experience with Candice at crystal peaks salon. I had gone in with a very dark ombr├® my roots were very dark brown with tinges of orange where the blonde had blended. I hated it and Candice did everything she could to get me to whole head of ash blonde in just one visit! I was only booked in for half head of highlights but she knew it would take more than that and gave up her time to make sure it was all the colour I wanted. Just 3 hours later I was all blonde no brown or orange in sight. I canŌĆÖt thank her enough ’┐Į

From the moment I walked in the salon, Gemma and the team at the City Road branch were professional and friendly. I walked in with a frazzled mop, and have left today with the most stunning cut and colour thanks to these ladies. My hair feels amazing and they have given me my confidence back! Gemma wasnŌĆÖt another colourist just desperate to get my cash, she genuinely had the best interests for my hair and itŌĆÖs health. I would not hesitate to recommend this salon to anyone and IŌĆÖll definitely be back, thanks again!

Friday I took my little boy into funky divas at crystal peaks, my little boy has challenging behaviour and hates having his hair cut, the man who cut my little boys hair made me and my little boy so comfortable, he was so patient and calm and just kept talking to my little boy, I will not go anywhere else now for my little boys hair cut, it was by far the best hair cut experience for me!

For the umpteenth time I had ruined my hair with an at-home kit and for the umpteenth time Candice at Crystal Peaks has worked a miracle and sorted me out! Thank you sooooooo much!!! Had my hair dyed, hair cut, eyelash extensions, eyebrow wax and tint and full set of nails. I think a bit understaffed today but still did a great job, my hair is such a great colour! However I still had a lot of eyebrow tint and hair dye on my face which I only discovered when I got home which is probably why I got some funny stares In SainsburyŌĆÖs!!

Well I used to like funky divas but after my own experience and recently my friends experience I will never be using their services again! Absolutely appalling! A while ago I asked for them to cut and bleach my hair with the end result being grey hair. I showed several members of staff an image or what I wanted and they were aware of my wants and didnŌĆÖt say they couldnŌĆÖt do it. My hair was not even when it was cut but I didnŌĆÖt know until I got home and was made aware by my family. I was given a few highlights in my hair that looked a brassy blonde colour. It was awful. During the bleaching process I noticed she wasnŌĆÖt doing my whole head but I trusted that she knew what she was doing and I didnŌĆÖt say anything. I realised later that she wasnŌĆÖt only giving me highlights and other members of staff that knew what I wanted did not intervene. They have a duty of care to their clients and did not fulfil this at all. I left unhappy and not wanting to return. This leads me to my friends recent experience where she asked for ombre hair and was left with an uneven hair cut and hair broken off on one side due to negligence of the staff placing the lamp too close to one side. For a salon that claims they can dye hair and posts all these amazing photos they really havenŌĆÖt proved it. Her hair was not blended in some areas the colour was brassy and others it was grey/platinum. There was no blending into the brown hair at all. These are two separate incidents at different stores so obviously nobody is capable of providing for the customers needs. Frankly I could have done a better job doing it for her myself with a box dye. Absolutely disgraceful service!!!!

Booked an appointment to have a hair dye test done & also a consultation before making the major appointment. None of that was done & I was told what I wanted would have to be gradual. The only test that was down was a piece of my hair was taken to see if the dye would take, so what was that all about? There was no consultation & scalp test, to which my head itches like crazy now.



On the day of the colour & cut & blow , a much needed one I may add , to boost confidence & get me going over a difficult time I was dealing with in a family crisis , I found myself feeling apprehensive but eager too. The young lad assured me I was in good hands , that he wouldnŌĆÖt let me walk out the place in tears & that he had 8 years experience, to which I found out near the end of my horrible experience that he was only 21 years old !!!!



I knew I had been had well & truely at that point but I was at the point of no return. He never explained what he was doing, only the bits I asked him too. I was dumped with magazines, so I assumed this is waiting time. I told him I had never had a hair dye in my life & he still didnŌĆÖt really tell me anything.

The washing of the hair was really uncomfortable & Luke warm water used. ( The lady next to me was politely asked if she was comfortable & was the water temperature ok !! Why didnŌĆÖt I get this treatment?!! ) The colour I felt wasnŌĆÖt left on long enough & a bit of a rush job. The cut took less than 10 minutes & I think I would have had the same result if IŌĆÖd cut it myself. He curled it with straightners which I never asked for, then charged me , with 25% discount , rounded up ┬Ż74 ! So that was a ┬Ż100 hair do !! Ok I purchased a bottle of shampoo & was probably done with that & itŌĆÖs probably been used on other customers too ( yes IŌĆÖve seen that been done ) but I just wanted to get out the place & have done with the whole experience. It was awful.



The hair do now, & even after the weekend is not a ┬Ż100 hair do. It feels horrible & doesnŌĆÖt look like anything special. Nobody has asked me about it my family, which is really sad. For that money, IŌĆÖd expect to feel really good about myself , & for people to notice but went home & cried. I wasnŌĆÖt even treated with respect. The colour is hardly noticeable too. My hard earned money not even making me feel good. IŌĆÖd expect this haircut I have had to cost me much much less, not the ridiculous price I paid. I know ladies haircuts arenŌĆÖt cheap but for what i had done & the way it was done I would have expected to have felt like I was being pampered too as well as having a decent hair cut & for my friends & family to notice !!

I've been having my hair done with Jo at Hillsborough now for over 5 years! She knows exactly what I want doing and I always feel great! I used to home dye my hair and she respected that, then with a little patience and lots of care I went blonde and will never go back!! A lovely lass who I have a giggle with every month lol! As per I usual I was over absolutely over the moon with my hair colour and root stretch too ’┐Į .

Had such a lovely experience with Candice at crystal peaks salon. I had gone in with a very dark ombr├® my roots were very dark brown with tinges of orange where the blonde had blended. I hated it and Candice did everything she could to get me to whole head of ash blonde in just one visit! I was only booked in for half head of highlights but she knew it would take more than that and gave up her time to make sure it was all the colour I wanted. Just 3 hours later I was all blonde no brown or orange in sight. I canŌĆÖt thank her enough ’┐Į

From the moment I walked in the salon, Gemma and the team at the City Road branch were professional and friendly. I walked in with a frazzled mop, and have left today with the most stunning cut and colour thanks to these ladies. My hair feels amazing and they have given me my confidence back! Gemma wasnŌĆÖt another colourist just desperate to get my cash, she genuinely had the best interests for my hair and itŌĆÖs health. I would not hesitate to recommend this salon to anyone and IŌĆÖll definitely be back, thanks again!

Friday I took my little boy into funky divas at crystal peaks, my little boy has challenging behaviour and hates having his hair cut, the man who cut my little boys hair made me and my little boy so comfortable, he was so patient and calm and just kept talking to my little boy, I will not go anywhere else now for my little boys hair cut, it was by far the best hair cut experience for me!

For the umpteenth time I had ruined my hair with an at-home kit and for the umpteenth time Candice at Crystal Peaks has worked a miracle and sorted me out! Thank you sooooooo much!!! Always love coming to you! So friendly and welcoming! Thanks to Connor for my lovely cut and style too! I promise no more home dye jobs!! I will always come to you! ’┐Į x x x

Absolutely love my balayage from Candice today as I was worried with my hair being so dark that the blonde wouldnŌĆÖt take but I absolutely love it! Always come to Candice for my hair and wouldnŌĆÖt trust anyone else to do it! SheŌĆÖs absolutely amazing at what she does and I am always happy with the result!

A big thank you to Adam. On my 1st visit my hair was in poor condition and a very brassy blonde. But with his great knowledge and talent Adam has worked his magic. Had my hair dyed, hair cut, eyelash extensions, eyebrow wax and tint and full set of nails. I think a bit understaffed today but still did a great job, my hair is such a great colour! However I still had a lot of eyebrow tint and hair dye on my face which I only discovered when I got home which is probably why I got some funny stares In SainsburyŌĆÖs!!

Well I used to like funky divas but after my own experience and recently my friends experience I will never be using their services again! Absolutely appalling! A while ago I asked for them to cut and bleach my hair with the end result being grey hair. I showed several members of staff an image or what I wanted and they were aware of my wants and didnŌĆÖt say they couldnŌĆÖt do it. My hair was not even when it was cut but I didnŌĆÖt know until I got home and was made aware by my family. I was given a few highlights in my hair that looked a brassy blonde colour. It was awful. During the bleaching process I noticed she wasnŌĆÖt doing my whole head but I trusted that she knew what she was doing and I didnŌĆÖt say anything. I realised later that she wasnŌĆÖt only giving me highlights and other members of staff that knew what I wanted did not intervene. They have a duty of care to their clients and did not fulfil this at all. I left unhappy and not wanting to return. This leads me to my friends recent experience where she asked for ombre hair and was left with an uneven hair cut and hair broken off on one side due to negligence of the staff placing the lamp too close to one side. For a salon that claims they can dye hair and posts all these amazing photos they really havenŌĆÖt proved it. Her hair was not blended in some areas the colour was brassy and others it was grey/platinum. There was no blending into the brown hair at all. These are two separate incidents at different stores so obviously nobody is capable of providing for the customers needs. Frankly I could have done a better job doing it for her myself with a box dye. Absolutely disgraceful service!!!!

Booked an appointment to have a hair dye test done & also a consultation before making the major appointment. None of that was done & I was told what I wanted would have to be gradual. The only test that was down was a piece of my hair was taken to see if the dye would take, so what was that all about? There was no consultation & scalp test, to which my head itches like crazy now.



On the day of the colour & cut & blow , a much needed one I may add , to boost confidence & get me going over a difficult time I was dealing with in a family crisis , I found myself feeling apprehensive but eager too. The young lad assured me I was in good hands , that he wouldnŌĆÖt let me walk out the place in tears & that he had 8 years experience, to which I found out near the end of my horrible experience that he was only 21 years old !!!!



I knew I had been had well & truely at that point but I was at the point of no return. He never explained what he was doing, only the bits I asked him too. I was dumped with magazines, so I assumed this is waiting time. I told him I had never had a hair dye in my life & he still didnŌĆÖt really tell me anything.

The washing of the hair was really uncomfortable & Luke warm water used. ( The lady next to me was politely asked if she was comfortable & was the water temperature ok !! Why didnŌĆÖt I get this treatment?!! ) The colour I felt wasnŌĆÖt left on long enough & a bit of a rush job. The cut took less than 10 minutes & I think I would have had the same result if IŌĆÖd cut it myself. He curled it with straightners which I never asked for, then charged me , with 25% discount , rounded up ┬Ż74 ! So that was a ┬Ż100 hair do !! Ok I purchased a bottle of shampoo & was probably done with that & itŌĆÖs probably been used on other customers too ( yes IŌĆÖve seen that been done ) but I just wanted to get out the place & have done with the whole experience. It was awful.



The hair do now, & even after the weekend is not a ┬Ż100 hair do. It feels horrible & doesnŌĆÖt look like anything special. Nobody has asked me about it my family, which is really sad. For that money, IŌĆÖd expect to feel really good about myself , & for people to notice but went home & cried. I wasnŌĆÖt even treated with respect. The colour is hardly noticeable too. My hard earned money not even making me feel good. IŌĆÖd expect this haircut I have had to cost me much much less, not the ridiculous price I paid. I know ladies haircuts arenŌĆÖt cheap but for what i had done & the way it was done I would have expected to have felt like I was being pampered too as well as having a decent hair cut & for my friends & family to notice !!
