we went on a celebration night out, dining room filed with a party eating sandwiches.
Stood at the bar waiting ages, male and female staff stood chatting, I had to ask a regular sat on a bar stool to attract their attention, it took the lad four attempts to pull me a pint of tetles, it still had an inch of foam, sorry , said the lad, it's a bit lively tonight. It's rubbish.I answered , come on I said to my companions, were leaving. Pity, it used to be a goodnight out there.
Still, the pub was busy, must be doing something right.
The food and the service was spot on, couldn’t fault it at all
Mixed grill was very nice as well as steak and mush sandwich with chips and salad
Love this place and the food is always spot on. Love the Lasagne.
I arrived with 30 minutes to go before they stopped serving food, ordered a steak and it was very nice. Consumed rapidly, throughly enjoyed �
Had a really good meal ,we will definitely go back .
Had a lovely meal and the staff were extremely helpful great..highly recommended

Great meal very reasonable but made all the better by the attentive barman couldn't do enough for us and even rushed out to the car to bring me my purse which I had left in the booth thanks to him will definitely go again x
Great food, friendly staff & nice deco, nice touch with fresh flowers in conservatory! Definitely worth a visit!
Great boozer, good food and drink. Don't know who the last person is, obviously not a regular as all staff are polite and well mannered. Quiz masters a good bloke too ;)
Cracking night last night. Good music good crowd n staff were on top form. Shame ya so far away would like to frequaint more often.
Was nice but the plates could have been warmer the mixed grill won the battle.

Been for Sunday lunch today, booked a table for 12 30 for 13 of us for my dad's birthday . Ordered are meals at 12 45 pm finely our meals arrived at 2 00 pm . Over an hour we waited to eat .We was not very happy . Then at 2 45 there asked us to more a less to leave because there had a party in at 3 00 pm .
Will not be going there ever again . We was totally disgusted.
Went for Sunday lunch @ 2.15 No beef left, Yorkshire pudding over done, roast potatoes raw, gravy like water.. Two other famines also complained about the potatoes Had to wait 15 mins for pudding Very disappointed....
Took a while to be served for drinks. One meal was the "Gourmet" burger, the beef burger and chicken were over cooked, we asked for it without cheese but it came with the cheese on it, fortunately there are no allergy issues and we were able to peel the slice off, the goujon came out about 8 mins after the rest of that meal. The chips were over cooked and very oily (maybe need fresh oil in the fryer). The hunters chicken was cooked nicely but again the chips were over cooked and oily. Yes we did eat it and we had paid for the meal and don't like wasting money, plus we are wary about sending food back. Won't be going again.
Too many kids running about unsupervised and staff not welcoming in any shape or form. Grown men sat at the bar with language that would be acceptable down a mine. Will defiantly not be returning.
Smack heads doing drugs in toilets...must be coming from the recently closed old house at home.
Management totaly oblivious...will not be going in again...shame used to be a nice pub....
