Last night (Thursday) we had the first Galacto Sesh. Music from infinity and beyond, but mainly European. Fantastic!! Instruments including harps, trombone, cello - great fun. You can catch them again here on 29th April. Not to be missed! Cheers everyone.

Well it's been a good weekend - Five Rivers played wonderfully on Friday (they'll be back in May after Alan's back from the Jonny Seven World Tour). Quiz was good - top score 17 and a half. Raffle quiz won again - well done Mick!

Used to call in here 30 years or so ago after work - used to be Mansfield Ales then as I remember - what a difference time makes - still a little gem of a dying breed of pub - but what really matters is the Mansfields out - can't really comment on the beers cos I couldn't stop suppin' the Sheffield Porter - delightful ���

Quirky, community owned pub in the heart of the former industrial 'Little mesters' area of Sheffield. Well known for its locally brewed ales and ciders, friendly welcome, live music and board games. Well worth a visit!

Popped in for a beer having avoided it for years. Choosing the Kelham for being brighter and generally nicer... wow what a shock, it's been taken over by hundreds of shareholders and it shows. Beer garden is small but packed with interesting local industrial features... old cast iron cooking units bricked into the wall that over looks the river... loads of little nick nacks that draw your attention. Clean bright and welcoming. Great range of beers and Lagers.. back on my hit list... lovely place. Well done to all who gave out in the Effort.

Great hidden gem in the middle of an industrial wasteland. Quirky garden overlooking the river, great beer and free books. So friendly as well. Couldn't ask for better.

Fabulous choice of beer. One of the more eccentric pubs in Sheffield. .. love the wall art. And if you catch some live music by chance, it's just perfect.

Brilliant little pub, not badly priced on drinks. Definitely be returning in the near future.

A real proper pub, rightly crowded by folk appreciating good ales and selection of draught lagers and some real music up close and personal, and eclectic outdoor decor. Worth a yomp ;)
